Forbidden scroll

"YOU FAIL" shouted Iruka to his most problematic student, Naruto Uzumaki, who had just failed the academy genin exam for the third time. "Come on Iruka, cut the kid some slack, he made a clone so why not pass him" said Mizuki, who was a friend and assistant to Iruka. "The other students made at least 3 working clones, Naruto made one that looks half dead, I'm sorry Mizuki but rules are rules, I can't pass him". Hearing this, Naruto just walked away, head hung low, and went to his favorite spot in the academy, an old swing under some oak trees, slightly depressed that he failed. Hearing a noise behind him, Naruto grabbed a Kunai and turned around, only to find Mizuki there. "Sorry Mizuki-Sensei, didn't know it was you" Naruto said, Mizuki smiles and said, " Not a problem Naruto, I actually came here to tell you of a secret makeup exam, do this and you'll become a genin" Naruto's eyes lit up "What do I have to do Sensei?" Mizuki smiles and said "all you have to do is steal a scroll from the Hokages vault, learn a technique from it, and meet me in the forest a few miles past the West gates, I built a shack there, you're target is called the forbidden scroll of seals, and it's pretty big, but you can't tell anyone your doing this, otherwise you'll fail and be expelled". Naruto thought about what he was told, he wanted to become a genin, but his gut told him this was a trick. "I'll do it Sensei, do you have anything that will help?" Mizuki handed Naruto a piece of paper, "That has all the Anbu patrol routes and the times they switch, I'll meet you at the shack at 10 tonight", with that Mizuki walked off laughing to himself, Naruto decided to double check with the 3rd Hokage, so he made his way to the Hokage tower. After checking in with the secretary, he was sent in to see the Hokage. "What can I do for you, Naruto?" the Hokage asked. "Old man I think Mizuki's a traitor, after I failed the clone jutsu he told me to steal the forbidden scroll and deliver it to him later tonight as a make up exam, he gave me the Anbu patrols and shift change times to ensure I would succeed" the Hokage was shocked, and told Naruto, "This is a strong accusation Naruto, and the only way to prove it is to catch him in the act, I will allow you to carry out the task, and if you can pull it off, I will allow you to become a genin, however you will be the class dead last" (time skip 8pm) after planning his plans on how to get the scroll, Naruto had infiltrated the tower and was in the process of escaping, when Hiruzen caught him with the scroll (it wouldn't be a good decoy plan if the Hokage didn't try to get it back) "sorry old man, but I need this to become a genin, sexy jutsu" seeing Naruto transform into a naked girl sent the Hokage flying back via nosebleed, Naruto made it to the rendezvous point with almost an hour and a half to spare, so he opened the scroll. Naruto found several jutsu he liked and one he would ask the old man about later, so choosing to start with the shadow clone jutsu, Naruto began practicing. (9:30pm, Iruka's house) Iruka was awakened by the pounding of his door, when he opened it he found Mizuki, " Naruto has stolen the forbidden scroll, Lord Hokage has mobilized all available personnel, meet up at the tower". "The demon has gone too far this time, it's time we killed it" shouted one chunin, which Sarutobi shot down immediately, " young Naruto was tricked by a traitor, and if so much as one hair on his head is harmed, that person will be executed on the spot, find Naruto and bring him back unharmed, now go!"  Being one of the few sensor ninja allowed Iruka to find Naruto almost instantly, and after a short sprint found the boy drenched in sweat. "Naruto you idiot, why did you steal the forbidden scroll?!" "Mizuki told me it was part of the make up exam, he said steal it and learn a jutsu from it and I would become a genin". "So you found the brat before me Iruka, not surprised since you're the only one who could catch him after a prank. Naruto, give me the the scroll and I'll tell you why the village hates you". "Don't do it Mizuki, you know that's forbidden knowledge". Naruto was shocked, what could be so important that he wasn't to be told about it, that's when Mizuki laughed and said "12 years ago this village was attacked by a demon, we fought back as best we could but it was all for nothing, it's rampage could not be stopped, at least not until the Yondaime Hokage sealed it away into a new form, you are the Kyuubi that attacked us all those years ago, and now I'll kill you and have revenge!" As he finished his speech, Mizuki launched a fuuma Shuriken. Naruto was shocked, he was the Kyuubi reincarnated, that explained why people hated him, realizing this, he was prepared to let the giant Shuriken hit him and end his life, when he was knocked back with Iruka over him, with the shuriken in his back. "Iruka-Sensei why did you save me?" "I saved you, because when I look at you I see myself when I was younger, alone and friendless, I also became a prankster, at first I hated you because the Fox killed my parents, but after I spoke with the Hokage, he made me realize my mistake, I'm sorry Naruto" with that, Iruka lost conciseness. Believing his Sensei dead, Naruto felt something inside him snap, and in that moment a blood red shroud covered him, his eyes slitted, much like a foxes, his nails became claws, and his canine teeth more pronounced. "You killed Iruka-Sensei, I'll avenge him by killing you, Shadow Clone jutsu". The clearing was covered in smoke, when it had cleared, thousands of Naruto copies surrounded the traitorous chunin, Mizuki pulled a vial out of a pocket of his chunin vest and swallowed the contents, his appearance changing, white fur covered his body, muscles became denser, his face resembled a tiger, "Behold the power Lord Orochimaru gave me, with it I am unstoppable". Naruto let out a viscous snarl and said, " To use someone else's power means you're too weak to face me on your own, once I beat you, Ibiki-nii-san and Anko-née- Chan should have no problem getting info out of you, especially after you let that tidbit about Orochimaru slip". After the verbal exchange was done, Naruto's Kyuubi enhanced clone army so thoroughly beat Mizuki, that he had to be taken to the T&I emergency room for treatment. His beat down on Mizuki finished, Naruto sat down to relax, when he heard Iruka let out a groan. "Iruka Sensei, are you alright?" Naruto asked, "A little sore from he unexpected attack, but I'll be fine after a trip to the hospital, and we talk to the Hokage."

A/n: this is my first story, so any helpful advice is appreciated, but no flames, Naruto will be smarter than canon, but hides it until after team 7 passes Kakashi's exam, he will have a harem of boys and girls, but I want some advice, besides the 2 boys (Haku and Gaara) and the 2 futanari (Yugito and Fuu) I want a few normal girls for Naruto's harem, but no Sakura and no Hinata, I've seen enough stories with both of them to last me a lifetime, and before I forget, I don't own Naruto, all rights belong to Kishimoto
