Meeting the family

Amelia's Pov:

Today I am meeting Harry's family for the first time.

I woke up this morning and made myself a healthy breakfast and got dressed and put my makeup on.

After I was completely ready to go I hear a knock on my door. I open the door to my apartment to reveal William and Kate and 2 protection officers.

" Are you ready?" William asks me

" Yes." I tell him

I close and lock my apartment door and walk towards the car with Will and Kate.

We get in the car and drive towards Buckingham palace.

" Who will I be meeting today?" I ask Will and Kate

" You will be meeting Granny and Grandpa and Pa and Camilla." Will tells me

" I'm nervous." I admit to Will and Kate

" Don't be. They seem intimidating but the are really normal." Will tells me

I nod my head running my hand over my more prominent baby bump.

After a few minutes of driving we arrive at Buckingham palace and once the car has stopped Kate, Will and I get out of the car and head to where I will meet the rest of the family.

After a while of walking we arrive at a door and it opens to reveal the Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and the duchess of Cornwall and the prince of Wales.

" Amelia, This is my father Charles, My step-mother Camilla, my grandpa Philip and my granny." Will tells me

I walk closer to them shaking each of their and giving each of them a deep curtsy.

" Amelia, How are you and how is the baby?" Her Majesty the Queen asks me

" I'm doing Okay and the baby is healthy." I tell them

" May I feel?" Her Majesty the Queen asks me pointing towards my growing stomach

" Of course." I tell her

The Queen walks over to me and puts her hands on my growing baby bump.

" Let's sit down. Your back must be killing you?" Camilla asks me

" My back hurts but in the end it's worth it." I tell Camilla

" Do you know if the baby is a boy or a girl?" Philip asks me

" No." I tell them truthfully because I don't know

We talked for a while until Will gets a call and everything in that moment changed.

" Harry is here." Will says

" What is he doing here?" Charles asks

" I don't know." Will tells him

" Does know about the baby?" Camilla asks me

" No. He doesn't. I haven't told him yet because I don't want to disrupt his life and all the amazing things going on in it." I tell them

" Harry is 2 minutes away so if we are going to get you out we need to do it now." Will tells me

" No. Harry deserves to know about his baby and whether he decides to be in his or her life is up to him." I tell them

I started to get nervous and scared so the Queen walked up to me and grabbed my hands and helped me calm down.

After a few minutes Harry walked in and came over to his grandmother and bowed his head.

" Amelia....... What are you doing here?" Harry asks me

" I came to meet your grandparents and your father and stepmother to introduce them to their unborn grandchild." I tell Harry

" What do you mean?" Harry asks me

" Harry, I'm pregnant with your baby." I tell him

" That can't be true." Harry says

" Harry we had sex 17 weeks ago. I am 15 weeks pregnant and you were my first since I lost my virginity." I tell Harry

" Believe me or don't but you deserved to know that you are going to be a father. Whether or not you decide to be apart of this baby's life is up to you." I tell him pulling an ultrasound picture out of my purse placing it in his hands

" Your Majesty, Your royal Highnesses, It was a pleasure to meet you all but I best be on my way." I tell shaking each of their hands and curtsying

I walked out of the room and started walking towards the way to get out of palace but I hear someone calling my name.

I instantly recognize the voice and see Harry running after me with his family behind him.

Harry got in front of me blocking me from leaving.

" Amelia, Why are you leaving?" Harry asks me

" I was going to go home to give you space to think about what decision to make." I tell Harry

" What is there to think about? You are pregnant with our child and I am going to be there." Harry tells me

" Harry, How are we going to do this?" I ask Harry

" Do what?" Harry asks me

" How are we going to raise our child in two different places and in two completely different worlds?" I ask Harry

" Amelia, I love you. I may not know you but I have never felt this way with anyone else." Harry tells me

" I feel the same way." I tell Harry

" I have an idea." The Queen pipes up

" You two could get married." The Queen tells us

" What do you say? Will you marry me?" Harry asks me

" Yes." I tell Harry

Harry leans in and our lips meet in a passionate peck.

Harry and I pull back and rest our foreheads on one another and Harry rests his hands on my waist.

" How are we going to announce that you are pregnant with Harry's baby and that you are together?" Will asks me

" I don't know." I say

" The palace can make a statement saying that you and Harry have been together for some time now and that you are engaged and you just found out that you are 15 weeks pregnant." The Queen says

" What do you think we should do, Harry?" I ask Harry

" Let's make a statement saying that we are engaged and are expecting our first child." Harry says

" I'll let them know." The Queen says

" Don't worry everything will be fine." Harry tells me stroking my growing baby bump

Harry and I spend time talking with his family until I have to go home because I have to work the next day.

" Amelia, What does your work look like for this week?" The Queen asks me

" I work the next 5 days and then I have the weekend off." I tell the Queen

" The Announcement of the engagement and the baby on the way will be announced in a few weeks." The Queen tells me

" We need to start on wedding plans and you and Harry need to start birthing classes." The Queen tells me

After a few minutes of talking a said goodbye to everyone and started walking towards the car that would take to my apartment.

I got in the car and it started to drive towards my apartment.

After a few minutes of driving we arrived at my apartment. I said thank you to the driver and got out.

I walked to my front door and unlocked it and walked in and got showered ate dinner and brushed my teeth and then I went to bed.
