The kids found a little black puppy at the creek today. I said we could keep him. Lily wanted to call him 'Toto', as she's been obsessed with The Wizard of Oz lately. Albus wanted to call him 'Fluffy'. But James looked at him in the eyes and said 'Padfoot'.
Then, Lily pointed out a family of deer; a stag, doe and fawn across the stream. The doe was nealing down by a small baby wolf.
Teddy sat down by Lily and said, "James, Lily, Harry and Remus. Your grandparents, daddy, and my daddy." He then pointed to a dead rat with a nasty look on his face. "And Wormy got what he deserved."
Al, who was playing in the sand, suddenly found a little toy horse, sticking out of his sand castle.
It was almost like MAGIC.
