One Big Unhappy Family (College AU)

It was 6:00 AM in the morning when Piper decided to push me out of the bed. "Ouch Beauty Queen,what's the deal?" I said as I hit the tiles.

"Uh hello it's your turn to cook breakfast and we need to pay rent or Dirty Chuck will chuck us out."

"Shit. How much money you got Beauty Queen because I'm practically broke right now." I showed my pockets to make a point. It was pretty clear that she was pissed."

"What happened to the four hundred bucks you made yesterday fixing our neighbors light?"

"Who thought that our coffee machine was broken and needed new parts?" As I fidgeted. The truth was the I was the one who broke the stupid thing after sneaking in after I snuck out to get pizza.

"I swear to god ,Valdez, if I weren't so kind I would leave you on the streets."

"Yeah, you're totally kind." I replied as I rolled my eyes.

"Valde-

She got interrupted by a knock on the door. Fuck Chuck was here. The guy looked like a homeless version of Santa Claus complete with smell of rotten bananas. "Where's the money for the rent you sloppy ass teenagers." He asked as he wiped off a ketchup stain of his Metallica shirt.

"Chuck, is it okay if we just pay next month. We're low on money. We only have 500 dollars." She said this while glaring at Chuck because his rent was seriously fucking overpriced. The only reason we stayed was that his apartment was the closest to our new college.

"Oh no Miss Pretty you either pay today evening or get the hell out of this apartment." As he walked out the door.

"Well Leo thanks to you we either have to find a new place or pay by this evening."

Well, isn't this the greatest morning of my life.
