Guess who decided to update? It's been pretty long since I've ever touched this story so here's the newest chapter, with some better writing. Hope you enjoy.

Meeting new people is something that every person has went through sometime in their lives.

Everyone hates it.

So when I saw Alex talking to someone new I've never met before, I was a bit concerned. Maybe she was trying to replace me? I don't know or maybe she just likes meeting people who share the same interests and I shouldn't be expected to be alerted of every time Alex meets someone new.

Yeah, that's not it.

I approached the table with the amount of caution that you should have when facing a lion. Scratch that, two lions. Wait, no three lions with laser eyes, complete with two machine guns and an anime sword. Yeah... that seems reasonable enough.

"Hey,  Alex how are you doing on this afternoon. I am doing just delightful. I cannot be any more overjoy- who is she?" I said nervously.

"You're acting weird Magnus." Alex raised an eyebrow

"Nuh uh."

"Yuh uh, also this is Rachel. We met in Art Class." Rachel in the other seat waved.

"Hey, Rachel. Excuse me I need to go for a bit." I said. Alex was about to say something but I walked away before she could.

"Sorry about that, he's being a bit weird." Alex explained to Rachel.

I made my way to the restroom. I pulled out my cell phone and called the first person on my contacts.

"Hi, this is Alex."

"...." I hung up.

I called the second person on my contacts.

"Hey, Magnus." It was Blitzen.

"Hey, Blitzen I need your help. I'm kinda nervous. Alex is with some girl and I-" Blitzen cut me off.

"Bud, you're calling me because you're nervous about Alex meeting someone new? Calm down." Blitzen sounded semi annoyed.

"Yeah...." I said.

"Don't worry Magnus, you're one of Alex's best friends... maybe. Probably." Blitzen sounded unsure.

"Thanks Blitze-" He hung up on me.

I walked back into the cafeteria.

"Guess who decided to come back?" Alex smirked.

"Hey.." I shuffled into my seat. I turned to apologize to Rachel.

"Sorry about that Rache-" I turned to her seat but she wasn't there.

"She left."

Oh.

"She felt kinda weirded out by you." Alex explained.

Double oh.

"What was that all about Magnus? You usually don't act this way.." Alex looked suspicious.

Alex stood up and grabbed her bag. She was looking at me weird like I just sprouted a second head.

"Well, we'll meet later. Catch ya' later Chase." Alex smirked and left. She tapped me on the shoulder before she left.

That left me with some confusion.

Did she know? Did she know that I know she knows? I am so confused.

Do I even know?
