Hogwarts AU

Author's Note: A very special person helped me write this. She actually wrote most of it @flowersaninfatuation . This is with my new OC Nikolai, and her OC's. Enjoy!

Snoring radiated throughout the Gryffindor girl's bedroom. Lavender lay there dead awake, and pressed her pillow against her ears to muffle the noise. Quietly as to not wake up anyone, she crept down to the common room. Glancing outside to see rain droplets and pitch darkness, she sighed. Thank goodness it was a Saturday night, she wasn't going to get to sleep for a while. Even with the snoring, she couldn't sleep anyway. Too much to do, so little time. She looked at the clock. It was only 10:30, but it seemed like everyone cleared out for the night, oddly enough. Lavender looked around and thought about what her friends in the other houses were doing. Were they sleeping? Partying? She'd never know. A few lamps lit the extremely dim room. The regular roaring fire had left the pit empty.

    She sat down on the couch and prepared a quick letter for each of her friends to hang out tomorrow. Man, it would be so convenient if Hogwarts allowed cellphones, because then she could just send out a quick text. There are times where she disliked being a muggleborn, not only because of the prejudice, but also because she knew of a whole different world, causing her to have to completely change her behavior depending on her setting. She finished up her letters and sent them off, but she still had one she wanted to personally talk to. Footsteps rattled on the old floor, and Lavender looked up to see Sebastian.

"Speak of the devil" she remarked.

"Excuse me?" he shot back, quirking a brow, eyes hazy with sleep.

"I just asked all of our friends to meet at the courtyard at noon, be there or be square" she said.

"Why would I be a square?" Sebastian looked very confused.

"Because you're not--- never mind. Just show up. Purebloods confuse me."

Sebastian's mouth quirked into a small smirk.

"Okay."

Silence filled the room. Sebastian suddenly remembered he came down for tea. Lavender watched as he made his way to the kettle and watched him boil water with a simple fire charm. She mentally sighed. Wizards and their dependency of magic.

"Well, I'm going to try to go to bed again. Goodnight Sebastian" she waved and headed up the stairs.

"Night" Sebastian said as he watched her retreating form with a look that if he wasn't careful, could've revealed everything.

The next day at noon.

    The courtyard was littered with various young wizards and witches. Lavender waited underneath the gazebo Sebastian for her friends who would arrive one by one. The first to arrive was the flirtatious Ravenclaw, Nikolai.

"Hey Nikolai!" Lavender smiled.

Sebastian did the head nod while she stared at him with a gaze that said "bitch what the fU**"

"Sup Lavender, lookin nice today" Nikolai winked. Sebastian squinted. He opened his mouth to talk, but Lavender looked over and quickly started yelling.

"Allie! Ilsey! Over here!" she said as she waved frantically.

Allie, being the nerd she is, wore her Slytherin scarf that contrasted with the beautiful Hufflepuff Ilsey's stark red hair. Without noticing the puddle, Allie stared into the sky while simultaneously stepping in. Alarm bells went off in her head.

"FDICKCKSJDJSKFSDL!" she yelped as she felt the cool water touch her sock.

Nikolai snickered, " Great going Allie. Did you do something new with your hair, lookin fresh. And Ilsey, that skirt really accentuates---"
Lavender started slapping his arm while screaming, "Boi I HOPE THE FRICK YOU DO."

"Ow, STOP" she continues. Does not stop. Some first years who were camly playing chess look over in confusion.

As she continues to slap him, the last two members of the party show up.

"Guys! I said I'd be down in five minutes and y'all LEFT ME IN THE GRYFFINDOR COMMONROOM!" Kurt wailed.

Sebastian shrugged and Lavender stopped beating Nikolai to say a disinterested sorry.

Lavender turned back to her victim who had now put up a shielding spell.

"I'm not taking anymore of your abuse for complimenting these lovely women," Nikolai winked once more and giving a half blown kiss before being assaulted by Lavender once more.

"Square up YOU FLIRTED WITH ME TWO SECONDS AGO, NO DON'T KISS ME!" Lavender screamed.

"Oookay guys let's all calm down" Aspen said as he tried to calm down the two.

"Sorry."

"I'm not"

"NiCK I WILL"
"Okay OKAY I'm sorry."

"I don't know, I found it very amusing" Sebastian smirked.

Allie gazed back at Nikolai with a slight smile. She clasped her hands together.

"Okay, back on track! Lavender, what's the plan for today?" Allie motioned to her Gryffindor friend.

"Not sure, maybe we could go to Hogsmeade and get some butterbeer?"

The whole crew seemed to agree.

"Are you good with that Aspen?" Lavender asks, gazing at the small Ravenclaw who looked unsure.

"Ehhh last time I went I saw Tanner and crew so... idk" he sighed, "but I'll go for you guys."

Kurt double whips, and everyone groans.

"Let's just go."

They start their trip over to the restaurant and continue their casual banter. They walked in a line going from left to right that consisted of Kurt, Aspen, Ilsey, Sebastian, Lavender, Nikolai, and Allie. Nikolai's head perks up as he come up with another mischievous idea.

"Hey, Sebastian, wanna race?" a glint appeared in his eyes.

"What? No" Sebastian responded, putting his hands in his pockets.

Nikolai smirked like this was all part of a plan. He leaned down and not so subtly whispered to Lavender, "Ha, he doesn't think he can beat me."

Lavender smiles and giggles. Nikolai looks up and smirks as he makes eye contact with Sebastian.

Sebastian, finally irked, says, "you know what? Fine. GO!"

The two 'competitors' dash off, leaving the rest of the group shouting for them to stop running.

"I can't believe those two they're so---" Aspen begins before noticing that Allie had also taken off running.

"Stop running already!" Ilsey shouts as loud as she can while cupping her hands. The rest of the group continues down the path towards Hogsmeade.

It takes all but two seconds for Lavender to decide to start sprinting down yelling "YEET."

Once she gets about two meters away from the remaining three, she pulls a broom out of nowhere and jumps on to zoom ahead.

As Sebastian and Nikolai almost reach their destination, Lavender hops off her broom to smack them in the faces, causing them to both stop, groaning.

"Ha HA fight me you both lose! Suck my LUCK boys!"

"But-but that's! That's cheating!"

"Oops."

Allie stops dead in her tracks, exclaiming, "woah woah I wasn't a part of this!"

The four wait for the last three to come over, because right now, that butterbeer is sounding pretty good.
