Kaylynn's Pov
School was normal as always. Yes i could use my powers to defend myself, but i can't risk my real identity to be shown.
I got off the bus and started walking to my house thinking about grayson and why would he supposedly feel DRAWN to me?
How? Is he a supernatural? Or does he just like me? He can't like me. Im way out of his league.
He sees im antisocial. He can tell i dont want to talk so WHY DOES HE KEEP TRYING TO TALK TO M- "Kaylynn wait up!" Grayson shouts from behind interruptting my thoughts.
3rd Person
He jogs up to the girl and starts walking with her, she speed walks to see if she can escape him. No luck, he wasn't going to give up. "Why won't you talk?" He curiously asks studying her face. The fragile girl immediately froze in place, tears pricking her eyes as she remembered a horrific memory.
(Kaylynn's flashback)
"Kaylynn come downstairs now!" Her mother hollered at the girl.
Kaylynn walked downstairs to find herself standing in front of a little boy and most likely his father. The boy looked around 9 years old, the father looked in his mid 40s.
"This is Mr._____ and his son _______, they are here to visit for a couple of hours." Kaylynn's father said bluntly. The girls father nudged hard at her signaling for her to introduce herself, but she stood silent not wanting to let a sound escape her mouth.
Her father immediately became enraged. He reached for her arm to grab it when suddenly the little girl shoves her way through him and the guests, she runs outside in fear knowing she'll get beaten. Kaylynn was so deep into her own thoughts that she didn't realize that her father was behind her looking down at her with eyes so angry she had never seen before.
"Now you've done it YOU BITCH!!" He spat with venom laced in his voice. Kaylynn's father grabbed her hair and dragged her to the backyard. He walks to what looks like a shed, he opens it and throws her in like a rag doll.
"WHY WON'T YOU TALK?!" He screams in anger, "FUCKING ANSWER ME WHEN I SPEAK TO YOU!" He slaps her. "I-I'm sorry.." she stutters with tears streaming down her face.
A/N: This is a short chapter to come back with SORRY! I will write more I'm just not very motivated.
