The Boy

As you sat on the passenger seat in the police car, you stared out the window at everything and admired it all. The scenes where beautiful. That is until you stopped in front of this building and you stopped looking at the pretty scenes.

"Do I get out sir?" You questioned, the officer nodded as he went over to your side and opened the door. You slid put and followed the man up to the building. As you walked in you saw a a few adults, maybe three or four sitting down at a table discussing something, then there was a little boy sitting in front of a picture of a pretty lady. He seemed to be really sad for some reason.

"Excuse me... Did I interrupt something?" The officer asked. One of the people, a female, stood up and walked over to us, "You did, but sense your an officer... We can discuss this quickly if it wont take to long" the girl replied. "Ok, so this girl..." The officer put his hand on my shoulder "Her parents... Recently died this morning. They apparently had a fight and fell out of the window of their apartment..." The officer looked down at me, sorrow filled his eyes. The women nodded. "We where discussing about the boy's mother..." The looks to the boy my the picture "his mother died..... As well. She was hit by a car...."

A different person stood up this time. A male. He had light brown hair... And whore a suit. He walked towards me kneeled down and smiled. "Hello. I'm Toru. Toru Shirota" I smiled back, shyly. "I'm (Y/n). (Y/n) (Y/l/n)". He stood back up "Come over here" he nodded his head in the direction of the brown haired boy. "Ok..." I followed him as the officer and the lady where talking.

Toru sat down next to the boy and I sat down in a spot so I could be in front of both males. "Mahiru..." He placed his hand on the brunette's head. "I'll be talking care of you from now on. And just so you wont be lonely. I'm gonna ask to take her in as well." He smiled and nodded in my direction. He stood back up and walks to the lady and officer.

I looked to the boy, "Hi, I'm (Y/n)." I smiled. He looked at me blankly. "Oh... Sorry did I say something wrong.... Or did I do something...." I looked down apologetically. "No, it's ok... I'm Mahiru..." The brunette replied to me. I smiled kindly to him then looked over to the officer, lady, and the other guy with light brown hair. Then I saw another guy holding papers.

Me and Mahiru just stared. But we didn't speak any more.

The guy wrote on some papers and then came back to us smiling. "Guess what you two!" He said, "What?!" Me and Mahiru replied and unision then we slightly giggled.

He kneeled down on one knee and told us to stand up and come closer. We did as he said, then suddenly I feel like I've been pulled into a hug. And I was. Mahiru beside me in the arms of Toru.

"Your both coming home with me. You'll have each other. Not many differences are on with you two. I spoke to the people. They said I could take you in Mahiru, then I asked about (Y/n). They didn't know what to do with her. She has no other relative's. And I mentioned that you both don't have your parents and you could gain a close bond. So they agreed. And now (Y/n) here"

Toru turned to you, and smiled with slight tears "Your (Y/n) Shirota now. Well after I sign more papers and talk to the government about adopting you."

Your pov~

You smiled the biggest smile you could make

"I'll finally have a family that cares?" You questioned excitedly. Mahiru was smiling as well. He was happy that he could have someone as a sister. Just someone by your side all the way to the end. "Yes" Toru smiled brighter

Later on after all the paper signing and approvements~

You were sitting in the back seat of Toru's car, next to Mahiru. It has been a while sense leaving the place you were at, but suddenly the car stopped and you look outside.

You saw apartments. So you guessed that Toru lived in one somewhere.

"(Y/n), you coming?" He chuckled slightly. You looked over to the tall man and nodded while sliding out of the open door, as you got out, you realized how beautiful everything was. So bright and cheery, you liked it.

The three of you walked into the building and into an elevator, you saw Toru push a button. But you didn't see what number he pressed, and the elevator started moving up. The elevator stopped and the three of you got out and walked down a hall till Toru stopped and started to unlock a door. You followed Mahiru inside holding his hand because he seemed to know it's ok.

Although Toru was you father now. He'd be taking care of you, so it was ok for you to just walk in now.

Once all of you were inside, Toru shut the door and locked it, he seemed to want to keep you and Mahiru safe, he walked to you and Mahiru, then he kneeled down in front of you.

"(Y/n)... I want you to feel comfortable here... And sense your a girl, and you'll end up maturing... Would you like to stay in the same room as Mahiru if he's ok with it or my room and I can move to the couch?", Magiru walked over, "I'm ok if she stays in my room with me" he butted in slightly. "I don't staying with Mahiru, i wouldn't want you to sleep on the couch" you smiled and hugged Toru.
