It had been a year since the order to tail Carlos was discarded due to some overwhelming technicalities.

Which was why Hecate was hesitant at first when she received the new orders to apprehend him for questioning because Carlos was now a person of interest.

She highly doubted Carlos had anything to do with Novio's plans.

However, the deep voice on the phone convinced her otherwise.

And by the time the conversation was over, Hecate wanted nothing more than to apprehend Carlos and eventually kill him.

The silence in the sacristy was shattered when Hecate kicked in the door while Fr. Carlos was taking off his smock after service.

She then rushed in.

"Why did you do it, Carlos?"

And with a plummeting feeling of deep regret, he realized what she meant.

As soon as she read his expression, he got up quickly and tried to explain.

Hecate then closed the gap and headbutt him savagely.

Still dazed, he tried to restrain her, but within seconds, she shot Carlos in the thigh.

Carlos buckled in severe pain, as he dropped to the ground.

Hecate suddenly heard approaching voices outside and she rushed to the entrance, wedging a long candlestick holder into the door.

She pulled up a pained Carlos up by his hair to a sitting position as she stood over him, in a rage.

"Why did you kill him!"

"Hecate...Luna, It didn't go down like how you're think—"

She then backhanded Carlos and shot him in the shoulder.

He was writhing in agony by now. Somehow, that wasn't enough.

Hecate needed to kill him slow.

He was still groaning in pain as she pulled him up and shoved his side into a table, bruising a rib.

Carlos' instincts came back and round kicked her backwards, slamming her against a wall.

Hecate swept his feet and they both fell to the floor as he yanked her down with him.

They both struggled against each other as he attempted an inverted arm lock, but she broke out of it with wrathful vengeance and hit him in the temple with her weapon.

Hecate flipped over as she straddled him with her firearm to his throat.

Carlos then wrenched her backwards and flipped Hecate over until he was on top of her while snatching the gun.

"Luna! Listen to me!"

"Luna is dead just like Franco, don't you remember motherfucker!"

She kicked him with a knee to the groin and he groaned as he rolled over to his side.

She then scissored Carlos with her feet over his bad arm as she pulled it between her legs attempting to dislocate his shoulder.

Carlos winced and fought Hecate off by slamming his fist against her outer thigh.
