''This is such a pretty little house!'' Sarah proclaimed as she followed her sister inside. The front yard was overgrown and needed much work, ivy growing up the sides of the house and overgrown grass made it hard to walk trough. But the inside of the house was very modern with white walls and a wooden floor. The living room and kitchen were connected by a small hallway that also led to the toilet. Next to the front door was a door leading to the stairs to the basement and next to that door were the stairs leading to the first floor. The living room still full of boxes with only the couch and dining table in it's place.
Sarah's sister was so lucky to get a house so fast. Their mother had kicked her sister out after an argument. But Sarah knew she would be kicked out soon, too. She worried and began to slightly panic only by the thought of it. She shook the thought from her mind and refocused on what she was here to do.
''So, Sarah. Can you start with the cleansing? Not that i believe in that kind of stuff, but Melissa forced me to let you do it.'' The boyfriend replied with a shrug. Sarah laughed as she took her sage and bowl to start the cleansing.
The cleansing was quite boring. going from room to room burning sage going from corner to corner of the rooms. First the living room, then the kitchen, then the basement, after that up the stairs. Then first the bedroom, after that the bathroom and visitors bedroom. And at last the attic. She put the remaining sage in the bedroom to burn out on it's own. She walked out the bedroom and went downstairs to tell her sister her house was clean now.
''Everything smells of burning sage so i trust everything is done.'' Her sister coughed as she opened some windows. Her boyfriend already outside cleaning up the front yard a bit. ''Yup not a single spot missed! And my advice: don't go playing around with spirit boards again, Melissa.'' Sarah said with a small hint or sarcasm in her voice. Her sister noticed. ''I can't promise anything Sar. The paranormal is just too interesting of a subject. And i know you'll help me when i get possessed, if i ever get possessed.'' Sarah let out a sigh knowing her stubborn sister won't listen to her anyway. I give it a week before she gets haunted again. She thought.
