Chapter 1: A Whole New Start

Weeks after the "defeat" of Rancora, the Star Darlings were back to their normal lives, or so they thought, cause Lady Stella had a surprise for them. 

"Guys, Lady Stella wants us to come to her office," Vega said holding her starzap, "she says it's important," 

"Are we in trouble?!" Cassie said worried, 

"Of course we aren't," Gemma comforted Cassie, 

"Maybe it's about that pink ball of brat- what's her name again? Starts with a V?"Leona asked. 

"Vivica, That rude starling, she totally lost her glow," Astra answered. 

"Well, if we wanna find out, we should go then," Sage said as she got up.  

At Lady Stella's Office- 

The girls sat down and chatted as Lady Stella signaled for attention. 

"Now, your probably wondering why your here," Lady Stella started. 

"Yep, what's the big whop?" Gemma asked curious. 

"Well, Rancora isn't defeated, she's still around, coming up with a plan to destroy starland, and you," Lady Stella explained,"There's a reason why there's 12 of you, and not 14 or 7," 

"How come?" Tessa asked. 

"Well, Zodiac signs, each of you is a daughter of a zodiac, which makes you very special," Lady Stella answered. 

Sage just stood there with her mouth wide open. 

"Sage is the daughter of Sagittarius, Libby is the daughter of Libra, Vega is the daughter of Virgo,Leona is the daughter of Leo,Scarlet is the daughter of Scorpio,Astra the daughter of Aries, Cassie is the daughter of Cancer, Piper is the daughter of Pisces, Adora is the daughter of Aquarius, Clover is the daughter of Capricorn,Gemma is the daughter of Gemini, along Taurus, which is Tessa. 

Libby looked like she gonna explode with joy. 

"This is amazing! I'm the child of a famous archer!" Sage did a dance across the room. 

"I always knew I was special," Leona pointed to herself. 

"Wait- what does this have to do with Rancora?" Scarlet asked. 

"Because you have the power to transform into magical warriors with the power to stop her using your wish pendent,"Lady Stella explained. 

"We're gonna be heroes!" Gemma lit up with happiness. 

"However, you can't tell anyone about this," Lady Stella's face turned serious. 

"Why?" Astra asked curious, "We'd be famous," 

"It could be dangerous, NEGA is out there, ready to grab a hold of any of you," Lady Stella answered. 

"NEGA?" Clover asked. 

"Negative Energy Group Agency- NEGA, it's a secret agency determined to find the 12 zodicons,spread negativity, and take over star land- all ran and controlled by Rancora herself,"Lady Stella voice had a tinge of worry, "It's safer if only you, your families and I know about this, sadly, Rancora knows," 

"Wow-" Leona said shocked.  

"So, basically we are a group of girls with magical powers that can transform into warriors that need to fight against a group called NEGA and defeat Rancora once and for all-" Gemma summarized very quickly," All while having normal school lives!?"  

Lady Stella nodded,"That's exactly what's going on," 

"It's a wish come true!" Gemma said with joy, "just like in movies like Space-Man: Into the Space-Verse and Astrovengers:Enternity Conflicts!" 

"You better get rest- Zodicon training starts tomorrow," Lady Stella clapped as the girls left.
