Israel Jenkins POV
Ma seemed scared about coming home late. Pulling up Tova mailbox 3 blocks down from her house as soon as she make it to the door, she honestly gets grab them to the house.
I hear yelling and screaming then she comes back with her hair all messed up and crying.
She gets in the car quiet and there was a dark bruise on the side of her face.
"You good?" I asked driving away from the house.she nodded (yes) and I shrugged.
I pulled up at Walmart, since I needed a couple of things.
"Can u come in with me?" I asked and she got out the car. I rushed and fixed her hair, then wrapped my arms around her waist, she tensed, but I wasn't letting go.
"Relax ma' you seem cold I said walking as she walked. We went in the movie section and I let her pick out the movie, then I went and got some bra's and panties just in case. I brought a bunch of snacks and some more blankets.
"You want that" I said, because ma was looking at this big white teddy bear,she nodded (yes)
"You can have it" I said, her eyes got big.
"Really"she said and I nodded (yes). she took the bear and dragged to were I was standing. The bear wall taller than her.
"Let's go" I said, she picked up the bear which looked very funny.
