I guess I couldn't really be mad at the person who gave away my virginity secret. I mean, I didn't want To lie in the first place. If it was me, in David's spot, I would've Just kept quiet. Another reason why we broke up. He just doesn't know when to stop.
I walked into school the next morning and it's like everyone knew who I was. I'm sorry was this some kind of joke? I'm just happy nobody's asking me questions. It's like they all had some new topic to talk about. And luckily, it wasn't me.
"Hey Sicily how was you're evening?" Jordan asked.
Jordan was the star basketball player, always trying to get into someone's pants, and always picking on naive little girls.
"Better than your's I bet." He just mumbled something and walked away. I hear he got kicked out of the game last night. That's what he gets for well, being him.
I got to first period and everything seemed normal. No one was asking me questions, no one was bothering me, everyone just seemed off and doing their own little thing. I was happy about that. Until when I heard the buzzer over the intercom.
"Hi can we have Sicily Swenson up to the office please?"
Beep
Oh geeze.
I gathered my things as if it was normal and my heart was racing. I've never been sent up to the principle's office. Let alone over the intercom.
My strides were long so I Could get there faster. I just wanted to get this over with. Confess to having the key and be done with it. I bet that's what it's about. Someone blabbed. I bet it Was That new kid from last night. Drew. He doesn't know how this school runs. He doesn't know no one knows about the closet and it's some big school secret.
"Hello Sicily. The principle will see you in the back." Mrs. Saunders told me.
"Thank you." I said questioning.
"Ahhhh Sicily. Well how are you? Good?" He asked.
"Ya I'm Great actually. Anyways can I Help with something sir? I don't want to Miss Much Of my class." What a lie.
"Yes. I Completely understand Miss. Now we have a few students who need some help with English, now would you be willing to help with that after school? You are a straight-A student. And after all you're very kind and seem like the right person for the job." He asked me.
Politely I replied with a yes and Bid him a good day and left after he told me to meet them in the library after school at table 3.
My third period was alright. I had Drew in there along with my fifth and sixth. He wasn't really looking at me though. Actually not at all. I wouldn't blame him. Why would somebody as hot as him want to look or talk to me after I basically ruined his first day of school? Especially in a new town. I screwed up.
He was actually good at math. I mean, not to be rude, but I didn't think a boy as cute as that could actually be smart too. How do they balance that? He answered almost every question. His eyes sparkled with delight when the teacher smiled at him when he got the answer right. He was obviously a smart kid.
Fourth period, I didn't do much. After all it was study hall. I just worked on my homework and got most of it done. Since I basically only had lunch, English and PE left. It was a pretty boring day.
English class was good. Drew sat in the back and sat quietly and listened. He barely wrote anything. He was either really good at it, or refused to work. I went along with the first one. I figured that was it.
By the time the school day was over I was beat. I didn't really want to go help those kids, but I had too.
I met them in the library and found out the reason they were in there was because they were placed into a class one grade level too high for them, and they needed some refreshing, not much just once or twice a week, I could do that.
I met Ashley, a sophomore, Jill, a junior, Ryan, a sophomore, and even Drew was there. Oh my gosh. This is getting ridiculous. I shook all their hands and Drew just kind of looked at me and laughed. This is so embarrassing. I helped them all on their last year assessments that I got from the librarian. I just pulled them up and refreshed them one at a time. But when it came to Drew, obviously we had no assessments. He just kind of sat there and watched. Like he had nothing better to do.
After it had been an hour and I had gotten to almost everybody, it was time for me to leave. It was 3:45 sharp. I had to unlock the closet soon so no one would see me because everyone knows by four o'clock it would be open. I ran down the hall and quickly unlocked it.
I returned to the front of the school and just walked home. Or attempted to.
"Get In The car and nobody gets hurt." Somebody was covering my mouth and eyes right before I could scream.
My bags were taken and my phone was gone. I was put into the backseat of a car and with a cloth over my eyes we started driving.
