Alexander was a fine kid, he did well in school, had satisfactory grades, had his group of friends, and didn't have any problems at school with anyone. Yes, it must sound as if what he had was perfect, but then again perfect was just another word with a meaning that didn't exactly exist in the real world.

Alexander had a previous school before his present one, he never wanted to talk about it though. He always seemed happy but on the inside he was a wreck, in need of more than just friends that cared for him, he wanted someone special. It made him sound greedy, he knew this but..he just wanted someone to love, and he wanted someone to love him back. It seemed impossible for anyone to love him for the fact that he was a nervous wreck when talking to anyone new. That was one flaw with the rest of hundred others.

He was standing in the school hallway minding his own business just standing next to the locker still as a mannequin could be, frozen staring into nothing. He kept thinking to himself, stuck in his own mind, never sharing his thoughts with anyone else, but himself, he kept his feelings bottled up inside, but he didn't mind. Not one bit. He really- before he could continue with his thoughts someone wrapped their arm around his neck and began ruffling his hair violently.

"Man, come on you always be so quiet Xan. How come you always spaced out dude???" He already knew who it was judging off from the bad speaking ways, it was one of his friends, Max, he always spoke grammatically incorrect and it bothered Jin, Max also shortened all their names which also bothered Jin. Someone else in his group of friends. "S-sorry, I just keep day dreaming, and losing myself into my thoughts" Alexander spoke giving off a small smile chuckling a bit so.

"Is fine little dude, you's cool." Max responded back letting go of him, Alexander trying to fix his now messed up hair, continued to smile. "Please Max how many times do I have to tell you, the word in your sentence doesn't even exist. The correct term is "you're cool" or "it's cool". Not to mention the fact on how you misused the word "is" you actually meant to say "it's" which then would have resulted in your sentence being "It's fine little dude, you're cool." or "It's fine little dude, it's cool."

Alexander and Max just looked behind themselves to have found an intelligent and mature "pokemon". Also known as Jin. He was always correcting Max and sometimes Alexander himself, but neither of them minded that, it helped Alexander a bit, but unfortunately Max still had a long way to go. "Umm, can you's- I mean- uuhh- c-can you repeat that???" Max asked wearing a very confused look as he looked at Jin. Alexander just laughed a bit, but internally he was laughing a bit too much, with a wide smile plastered on his face. "Well, you're improving, I'll give you that, so I'll let the "can" instead of "may" slip up."

Jin responded as he then looked at Alexander now wearing a smile on his face as all three began laughing lightly. Well, Max was just faking a laugh to fit in for he didn't know what they were laughing about looking more confused than ever. "Again with that guy huh, Jay?" Alexander asked him. Then the person who was once talking in a high sophisticated manner was now speaking "normally".

"Yea dude, sorry for that guy he can be such a nerd at times." Jay said chuckling a bit. Jay and Jin were both some of Jack's many sides, he was diagnosed with a split personality disorder, but his legal name given by his guardians was Jack. "Nahs man, is alls cools!" Max now said smiling widely with the fact that he didn't have to be lectured anymore.

Alexander just laughed a bit more, at how he took notice about this. "Well, glad to see you too Jay, plus Jin isn't a problem. He's really cool I say." Alexander stated as he looked at Jay with more of a smile, Max nodding as he said so. "Yeas he cools and alls, he just has them concerns about us'es- uhhhh- whats it called?- oh! Grammars. Hes just concerns about us'es grammars." Max added with more grammatical errors than ever before. They were all best friends, and they never minded each others "flaws". "If ya continue to talk like that Ax, Jin won't be proud, he'd be disappointed in himself more than in you." Jay said having a nervous smile.

All of a sudden the bell rang signaling the end of the day, they always had at least thirty minutes of everyday at the end to themselves until we all had to head back to our homes. Just because that's what we called it, it never meant that our homes were really a place that we could call home. Confusing.

He thought once again, Alexander began heading home, walking all on his own. His brown now messy hair hanging past his forehead as he looked down at his feet continuing to walk. Max, him, and Jack all lived in different locations, he wished they didn't. He wished they lived together like brothers. Maybe more. What were these thoughts? Just another reason to hate his own mind, confusing him all the time. He then giggled a bit to himself as he noticed that what he had just said had rhymed a bit in a way. 'Just another reason to hate his own mind, confusing him all the time.' That's funny.

He kept in walking admiring all the beautiful bushes and gardens filled with roses and tulips. He thought it was amazing how a simple plant could be so beautiful. He kept talking to himself in his mind with a small smile on his face as he walked past the garden of roses heading to his home. He continued to walk his footsteps being heard click clacking on the concrete pavement with the new shoes he had, he felt the sound being satisfying to hear. He finally reached the door to his house, he opened it and to no surprise nobody was home. Lately his mother spent her night out with her friends drinking and partying coming back near midnight each day.

He closed his front door and locked it, and began heading to his room dragging his feet a bit, he walked up the stairs and into his room, throwing his backpack full of comics onto his bed. As he then flopped onto it as well letting out a sigh, knowing that he would be alone once again, alone with his thoughts. "Why can't I have anyone to keep me companyyyyyy? Uggggghhh!" He whined as he stuffed his face into the pillows screaming a bit into them bored already.

Before he knew it he heard something ringing, he looked up from his pillow and looked to his right, there on his night stand was his phone ringing, someone was calling him. He sat up and picked up his phone holding it in his hands, he felt his face warm up with pink as he read who it was, it read "mystery girl." He immediately answered his phone as soon as he realized who it was. He heard a soothing voice as he put it on speaker becoming nervous almost instantly.

"Took ya long enough cutie. Sooo how was your day?" She asked, her voice sounding so beautiful as if an angel were singing to him comforting him at the same time. It made him feel butterflies in his stomach while wearing a wide smile from ear to ear with a faint pink on his cheeks. "S-sorry, my-"
