**"Grayson..." I said trying to calm him down.
He was currently pacing around the room with his hands in his hair.
"Hayden! Your fucking pregnant! Why didn't you tell me?" He asked, his breathing pace slowing down a bit.
"Because! You said you didn't want a baby! What was I gonna do!? Tell you that you were ACTUALLY the father of this one?" I asked.
He stopped and looked at me.
"That ain't an excuse, Hayden" he said, bluntly.
"Grayson, I was scared. Scared of how you were gonna react! And honestly, this is a lot worse than I wanted. I'm leaving.." I said, walking upstairs.
He ran upstairs after me.
"Hayden, don't go. I'm sorry.." I begged.
"No. I think we both need time to process this" I said, packing a few outfits.
"Hayden.. please don't leave me! I'm sorry Okay. I wanna be here for this baby." He pleaded.
I let a tear fall down my cheek.
"Okay." I said softly.
"Really!?" He asked.
"Yes... But, Grayson, I want to ask you something.."
"Okay.. anything." He said.
"Do you want this baby" I asked.
He didn't answer,
"Grayson, if you're gonna leave me then you need to do it now. I'm not gonna come home from work one day and see all your things packed up with a bogus ass note saying you're sorry when your clearly not" I snapped.
"Hayden.." he started.
"I'll see you at work, Grayson"
I picked up my suitcase and wheeled it to my car.
"Hayden, come on! We can work through this!" He yelled, chasing after me.
"I need time Grayson" I said, softly.
"What?" His voice cracked.
I shook my head, ignoring his question.
I got in my car and pulled out of the driveway.
I could hear Grayson yelling my name as I drove away.
I couldn't help but let a few tears go out myself.
I drove to the hotel across the street from work.
-
"Room 225" the worker said.
"Thank you" I grabbed the keys from his hands and made my way to my room.
My phone was blowing up so I turned it off.
Jason told me he was going to stay at Jakes for a while.
He promised it wasn't because of me and Grayson but I knew he was lying.
I opened up my suitcase and grabbed a pair of pajamas.
I slipped them on and laid in bed.
I felt my eyes start to get heavy.
Before I knew it, I was fast asleep.
