Aaliyah's POV

yes Jillian I know this story has to be killer. I'm sure he's open to talking about his past problem with Xanax. I explained to my boss on the phone while I got ready. Jillian was always worried that I wouldnt get enough "juicy" details as she would put it about the people I was interviewing. Wether it was up and coming artists or very mainstream artist she always had a sense of worry. But I guess that's just something you have to be worried about in this field of business.

"Okay Jillian I'll call you after the concert and give you my rough draft." And with that I hung up and continued to do my hair and makeup.

To say I wasn't excited would be a lie. Lil Xan has had a few good hits and I couldn't believe I was the one chosen to do the interview. Rap concerts could be a bit intense sometimes so I decided to invite my friend Payton. She's always a good time.

As I was finishing filling in my eyebrows I heard my doorbell ring. "It's open!" I hollered through my penthouse. As I was putting my make up away I saw Payton appear in my doorway looking amazing as usual. Her outfit consisted of a black and white xanarchy hoodie and white jeans with her black and white vans.

"You look so good! Are you ready to have a hella bomb night!" I said through a smile!!
"Fuck yeah bitch you already know Steve cannon is daddy! I cant wait to be backstage to meet him!!" She said while falling back on my bed with a smile plastered on her face.

"Okay good!! I just need to get dressed and we can go!!" And with that I disappeared into my closet. I finally decided on black skin tight ripped skinny jeans and a black crop top with my all black vans.

As we were walking out of my bedroom I grabbed my backpack that contained my mac book pro and a note pad with a pen. We made our way out of my penthouse and down to the parking garage where my murdered out 2018 Scion tC was parked.

"Aaliyah you know I'm literally in love with your lifestyle right" Payton laughed as she got in the passengers seat.

"Its where hard work gets you ya know? Now let's head out so I can get all my stuff set up before the concert starts."
