Chapter 8: Finding Jack

Jack's P.O.V

"Ugh....what...what just happened?" I moaned as I open my eyes. "Where am I?"

I was in some sort of dark alleyway in L.A.

Behind me was a broken mirror.

"Wait, where are the others?!" I yelled. "Felix? Wade? Bob? Signe? Amy? Marzia? Robin? Tyler? Ethan? Mark? Where are you guys?!"

I began to cry.

"Awww, little Jack doesn't know where he is.. or where his friends are.." said a voice.

"Go away, Anti.." I said, with tears streaming from my face.

"Jack, I CAN'T! I'm a part of you, you motherfucking idiot!" Anti yelled.

"R-Right...I keep forgetting that..." I said.

"Jack? Are you here? It's Ethan!" A voice said.

"Who the hell is that?!" Anti said.

"Who?" I asked.

"That voice!" Anti yelled.

"Oh. That voice belongs to Ethan Nestor. He's one of my best friends." I replied.

"Wait, Mark isn't your only BFF?!" Anti cried.

"You didn't know?! Of course!! Ethan's my BFF as well!!" I yelled.

"Jack?! If that's your voice, who are you talking to?" Another voice said.

"Looks like Mark's with Ethan. Trying to find you, I presume." Anti scoffed.

Wait...Ethan and Mark are looking for me?!

"I better go..." Anti said, smiling as he disappears.

I see a flashlight shining on me.

I see two boys who are without a doubt familiar.

One boy with black hair and red hair-dye, and another boy with brown hair and blue hair-dye.

"Jack!!!!" Ethan and Mark cried.

"Mark!!! Ethan!!!" I cried.

Mark and Ethan ran over to me and hugged me.

"Oh, Jack!! We were so worried!!" Mark cried.

"Don't scare us like that ever again!!!!" Ethan said, with tears running down his eyes.

I saw another boy walking towards us.

"So, you're the one Mark and Ethan told me about." He said.

"They told you about me? Uh..I mean...yes! I am!" I replied.

The boy extended his hand out.

"Nice to meet you. The name's Darkiplier. Just call me Dark." Dark said.

"I-I'm Jack..Jack McLoughlin." I said, reaching for Dark's hand.

He pulled me from the floor, and hugged me.

"He looks like Anti.." Dark thought in his head.

"Come on, Jack. We should head home. Everyone will wonder where we are." Mark said.

"Sure thing." I said.

I run to Mark and hug him.

"Oh, Mark. I missed you so much!" I said.

"I missed you too.." Mark replied.

Ethan ran up and hugged me and Mark.

"I missed you the most, Jack!!!" Ethan cried.

"Oh, Ethan." I said, stroking his blue fringe.

"Aw, that's so sweet." Dark said.

Me, Mark, Dark and Ethan began walking home.

When we got back, Signe was the first one to tackle me with a hug.

"Oh, sweetheart! I missed you!!" Signe cried.

"I missed you too, Signe." I replied.

"I'm so glad you're okay, Jack!" Robin cried.

"It's great to be back, Robin!!" I said, hugging him.

"We were worried sick!! Where have you, Jack and Ethan been, sweetie?" Amy said to Mark.

"Let's not talk about that right now, Amy." Mark said.

"Excuse me, but who is that?" Tyler asked, pointing at Dark.

"Oh, right!" Ethan said. "Everyone, me and Mark would like to introduce you to Darkiplier. He helped us find Jack."

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Darkiplier!" Marzia said.

"Please, just call me Dark." Dark said.

"Jack looks exhausted." Bob said.

"Yeah, he does. Jack, you should head to your bed. You and I have to visit our old school tomorrow." Mark said.

"Sure thing, Mark!" I said.

Mark leads me to my bed.

"Jack?" Mark said.

"Yes, Mark?" I replied.

"Why were you screaming in agony?" Mark asked.

"Ugh!!! I don't wanna tell!" I yelped.

"Okay. Goodnight, Jack." Mark said.

"Goodnight, Mark." I said.

Mark left my room and after a while, I closed my eyes and went to sleep.
