"Would you stop looking out the window? I'm sure it'll come" gena reassured

But I couldn't help but stare out the perfectly clear window to the mailbox.

"I hope so" I responded.

While I was getting off the blue sofa I Heard a squeak and then metal hit against metal.

"I think it's here!" I screamed.

Now sprinting through the living rooms polished wood floor to the white metallic door. I swung the door open and ran down the cracked cement walk way, with grass on both sides until I got to the black mailbox hoisted on a thick wooden plank.

"Calm down , you're going to get all the neighbors attention" warned gena

I nearly ripped the mailbox door off its hinges and snatched the mail.

"Nope. Nope. Nope." I said going through the mail.

"Here!" I exclaimed as I found the letter in the pile of mail. It came in a white envelope with a bored of red,blue, and white, along with the address it was sent from, and to.

"Well go on and read it!" Rushed gena

"Okay!" I ran back inside and into the dining room, where i sat at the golden brown, table.

I ripped the right side of the envelope, and pulled out the white paper in which the letter was written on. I unfolded it and began reading.
