Chapter - 22

"Daniel is waiting for you..." the guard said.

"Ok, the heck, so what should I do, whatever it is imma do it even if I'm just dreaming"

"Fight Ayame, the witch lord of Hiroshima, and save the actual Lord, Daniel"

"So I'm a warrior now?"

"You're a head warrior of Hiroshima, don't you know? The one the lord treasures the most is the head warrior"

"Woah, just like the game.." Samuel whispered.

"This is a game and you have to win it, take Daniel home with you, he's slowly dying, I know he's dead from your world, but he's not from here"

"How do I.. Umm .. like .. fight her ?" Samuel smiled sheepishly.

"Oh god..." the guard facepalmed himself, "so you really forgot everything?"

"Uh.."

Suddenly the door banged and broke flying towards the other side of the room.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" A scary woman, with black skin, red nerves and eyes stood.

Which then Samuel remembered, in the game she was the villain, the witch who tried to kill the lord.

Now he knows exactly what's going on, he thought he's dreaming about a game, but now ..

He really is in a game.

Fighting for his life.

Fighting for his lord.

His love.

Daniel ...

She threw her hands extending it to over 5 feet with a pointy end and stabbed the guard right on his chest.

Samuel was too shocked to say or do anything, he just fell to the floor speechless.

He was the best player in the game, but he didn't know what it would be like if it happened in real life.

Where's Ayame though? He thought.

Who exactly is this witch, what is her identity?
This should have a meaning, even though the game didn't have one.

Is this what the game meant by 'This is a challenge, not a dare'?

He remembered what he game description said.

'Once you enter there is no end. Once you decide there's no going back and once you start you will be taken over'

The game updates automatically without any cost.

When he talks about it to his friends, they don't know.

When he tried to understand he gets confused.

Is .. the .. game itself .. a different universe?

Is he in some sort of devil's territory?

He snapped out of his thoughts and when he could realize what's going on, the room was already broken down and the guard bleeding to death.

The witch continuously stabbed him, which made Samuel mad, "STOP!" He screamed and regretted it the second he spat out those words.

Oh shit she saw me ...

"Hmmmpff.. mmmm," she moaned and took steps towards Samuel.

He didn't have any weapons, he had no idea how to defeat her, but while he's actually playing the game from home he would have the best move to defeat her.

He was a loser in real life, a loser who killed his ... boyfriend.

"I don't like people who betray me!" She said and continued stabbing the guard in anger.

She came towards Samuel furiously, ready to slaughter him on the spot with her sharp blade at the end of her arm.

She was a complete, devil, a demon.

He totally forgot how to defeat enemies in the game.

He forgot everything.

All he remembers is .. Daniel. 

He has to save Daniel.

Suddenly the demon started raging and screaming, then silenced when she looked at the guard.

Her long sharp arms turned into and actual human arm and then what ??

She held him up with one hand and started biting his flesh off.

Samuel gagged.

She ate more.

Then Samuel remembered he should save Daniel, but for the time he decided to escape.

He slowly tip-toed to the entrance of the room and went out.

Then he suddenly ran in full speed, he kept running, but he didn't know where he was going.

He didn't stop, he remembered he passed the hall three times and this is the fourth.

He stopped for a moment to understand what the hell is going on. Then it suddenly became dark.

Same as before.

Daeng it

He couldn't see anything even when his eyes where open.

He expected to hear a lady's voice again, but no..

"Sammy" he heard a dark whisper.

He got chills.

"Kill her, I'm .. dying" the whisper continued, it sounded like that person was in so much pain.

It shot to him .. "Daniel?" Samuel whispered back in fear.

"Please save me Sammy" the voice became clear, IT WAS DANIEL's VOICE.

"If you can't save me it's fine, but at least kill the witch, so then you can escape this world of hell" Daniel continued.

Samuel hesitated to believe if it was really him, but believed it anyway.

"I-I'll save u Danny" Samuel said and he was already tearing up for no reason.

"I-I really m-miss you Daniel.." he said stuttering and unable to even speak.

He was breathing so hard and tears just didn't stop from his eyes.

"I'm so sorry Daniel-" he whimpered, then put his palm on his mouth to stop himself from making sounds.

"Sammy... I ... love you too" Daniel whispered faintly and all the silence faded into the air, then he heard a lot of people chatting.

When he opened his eyes, he was back in the arena.

"I'm saving Daniel, no matter what happens..." he said, "even if ..... even if I die" he finished his sentence strongly fisting.
