. Jack wrote these lyrics when you and him were going through a tough time together, this happens quite a lot which is why he thought of these lyrics. Yes you make up but its a repeating pattern, but he still lives you and he won't let go of you that easily :)
Zach: "We're on different sides though, lost in the echo"
.Zach thought about including these lyrics when you kept trying to push him away, because you didn't want to cause him pain, he wanted to make it clear that he wouldn't give up on you <3
Corbyn: "On different islands, just sounds of silence"
. Corbyn insisted that this line was included because you and him always say things like 'I feel like were on our own completely different planets, but they are meant to be together' So the Islands would represent the Planets (;

.Jonah wanted these lyrics in the song because he wanted to make point to everyone that you and him were not together and never were, of course you were in reality but the fans got a bit too much for you so Jonah helped out x
