Eric was in the ambulance on the way to the hospital

Flashback

Coach was on the field with the team and the coaches shouting at them when all of sudden he felt tightening in his chest , he couldn't breathe he started holding his chest gasping for breath , players started noticing and it was at everyone's attention

Mac says " what's wrong Eric "

" chest ...... My chest .... Can't breathe" he gasped

Mac shouted " phone an ambulance then " he screamed at the players one of them phoned

End of flashback

Eric was in the ambulance , gripping his chest he had an oxygen mask on

He lifted it off and they tried to put it back on

" phone ....... Tami please tami "

" is this your friend or a member of your family "

" she is ...........my family she is ........,.my wife " he says and he puts the mask back on

Tami was at her desk when Vince and Mac came running into her office out of breath

" Mac Vince how can I help everything okay , ohh can you tell Eric to phone me he owes me a date " she says smiling like usual tami

" tami ... Eric was in the ambulance he is at the hospital he had a heart attack "

" ohh okay that's all good , wait what did you just say "

" Eric had a heart attack he is in the ambulance "

Tami just froze suddenly her world was going in slow motion , she went into her drawer got her keys and just started running towards her car , mac and Vince chased after her

" tami let me drive you can't drive like this " Mac said

" I'm fine i have got to get there "

" mrs Taylor let mac drive he can get you there safely I will pick up Kai and Gracie for you "

" okay okay thank Vince it means a lot " she handed her keys to Mac and they got into the car

At the hospital

Eric was stable , he was in his hospital bed hooked up to the machine and had an iv line giving him meds

The doctor walked into the room

" Eric you have a visitor " he says and moves to the side and shows a shaking tami standing behind the doctor

Eric heart monitor started going crazy and his pulse was quickening

" Eric your heart is beating too fast is it your pain again "

" doc I can tell you one thing , that had nothing to do with pain "

" then what is it " he says and Eric looks at tami

" doc that's love " Eric says and tami comes running up to the side of his bed

" Eric don't do that to me again please don't do that again " she says with tears running down her face

He reached up and wiped them away

" hey who knew the old age is catching up to me "

" you are many things Eric Taylor but you are not old "

" really?"

" really " she says and he reaches up and wraps his arm around the back of her neck pulling her closer she leaned down there lips centimetres apart
