Something For Georgia

As In, Right Now?

~ Georgia's POV ~

The instant we step off the plane, Heather is running as fast as you possibly can, before jumping into Ethan's arms at full force, almost knocking him to the floor. She cries into his neck and wraps her legs around his waist and she clings to him, and I can tell even from this distance that he's struggling to hold it together himself. Those two are like a pair of damn teenagers in love, I swear. I cant help but smile as I watch them, I really am overjoyed that Heather finally found the right person for her, and that he just so happened to be the man of her dreams. Seeing them together makes me feel a little guilty, they've been apart for almost a week and they wont get any time to themselves for another couple of weeks, because Im living with them. That doesnt seem very fair. Making a plan on the spot, I take my phone out and go into my texts. Upon seeing Bryan's text to me from the day before, my smile spreads into a grin.

Bryan: Just landed, ready for that date whenever you are, not-so-birthday-but-just-as-beautiful girl ;)

Dropping my hand luggage, I quickly type out my reply.

Me: How about right now?

Within a few seconds, Bryan replies, and the fact that he's so keen makes me laugh.

Bryan: As in, right now?

Me: Yup

Bryan: Where are you?

Me: Just got off the plane

Bryan: I'll be there soon, what do you wanna do?

Me: Not too much, Im SUPER jetlagged, but I wanna give Heather and Ethan some alone time, so I figured why not use that to my advantage?

Bryan: That's very sweet of you to do for them. How does movies and pizza at my place sound?

Me: Like heaven

Bryan: Then it's a date ;)

Me: See you soon lover boy

Bryan: You will indeed :P

With that sorted, I slip my phone into my back pocket, pick up my luggage, and approach Heather and Ethan.
"You guys dont need to worry about me tonight, Im giving you two some time to be all cute without me there, because I'll make gagging noises and put you off." I explain myself.
Ethan carefully places Heather back down on the ground, both of them turning to give me the same confused expression.
"You really dont need to do that Georgia!" Ethan assures me.
Heather nods, then raises an eyebrow "Wait, have you made plans?" She gasps, then smirks "BRYAN!"
My eyes go wide, she's too good at guessing shit like that.
Ethan's jaw drops "Wait, hold on, are you and Bryan Dechart dating!?!"
I shake my head frantically "Nono! He just asked for my number and hinted that he wanted to see me again, and I MAY HAVE SUGGESTED we hang out today, to give you two some time alone..."
Heather squeals and hugs me, and Ethan just gives her major heart eyes "IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!" She pulls away "Dont get pregnant, dont be afraid to play hard to get, and have the BEST time!"
I roll my eyes at her playfully "Yes Mum."
Ethan chuckles and subconsciously slings an arm around Heather's shoulders "Seriously though Georgia, have fun, and come back whenever you want. We're roomies now!"
I sigh dramatically "Im really taking third-wheeling to a whole new level by staying with you guys for a while arent I?"
Heather shakes her head "Of course not! If anything, Ethan will be the third wheel!"
Ethan pouts sadly "Hey!"
I roll my eyes again "Heather, that may have been the case with your previous boyfriends, but you and Ethan are inseparable, and it's the cutest thing in existence."
Heather giggles, and Ethan kisses her temple.
I facepalm "Point proven."
Then, my phone dings obnoxiously, and I take it out to check it, a smile spreading across my face as I read the notification.

Bryan: Im parked outside the airport, please hurry before I get moved by the staff

Me: Better not keep the lady waiting eh ;P

I shove my phone into my back pocket and grin at the couple before me "Gotta go!"
We get into a group hug, then disperse, and Heather smacks my ass as I run past her. As I run to the doors, I hear Heather shouting from behind me, her voice fading into the distance the further I run.

"GO GET 'EM TIGER!"
