Pernico - Part 3

Trip to the Underworld

I was taking Oliver to the underworld with me since I wanted to see Bianca. Oliver has never been down here, so I think it'll be a cool experience for him.

“Dad, where are we going?” Oliver asked as we walked into an alleyway. I looked down at him and said, “We're going to see where Daddy's from. His home.” “Really? Will our family be there?” Oliver asked, not knowing anything about where we're going. I smiled and said, “Yes. Your grandfather is there, and so is one of your aunts. And someone else…” Oliver looked confused for a second as I knowledge down in front of him. “Now, Oliver. Do you remember how to shadow travel?” I asked. I had only taught him how to shadow travel a while ago, since I've been showing him what he can do with Percy's powers. Oliver nodded. I smiled and said, “Good. Now, I need you to shadow travel with me to my home. It'll take a lot of power, but you'll make it. Are you ready?” Oliver nodded as I took his hand. Alright. Here we go.

As we found ourselves in the Underworld, Oliver was a bit scared. He clung onto me and asked, “Dad? Where is this place?” I turned to him and said, “This is the Underworld. Remember how the power of shadow travelling comes from me? Well, we get that power from here. Your grandfather is Hades, king of this place.” Oliver's eyes widen in amazement and asked, “Wait, so we're technically Princes of this place?” I thought about it for a second and said, “Yeah, I guess you think of it like that. Now, come on. Let's go see your grandfather.”

After we went to talk to Hades, I decided to talk to Percy. He let himself come down here after his death, even though I told him that I could put him somewhere else. I brought Oliver over to Percy's little space and told him to wait outside the door while I'm inside.

I took a deep breath and walked inside. I looked around and saw Percy at the edge of his little lake. I walked over to him and sat down beside. He looked at me and said, “Hello, honey. You brought Oliver down here for the first time?” I nodded and kissed him. He smiled against the kiss. When we pulled away, he looked back at the door. “Can I see him?” Percy asked. I looked at the door and asked, “Don't you think it's a bit early?” “Nico, I haven't seen him since he was just born. It's been eight years since then. I want to see him,” Percy spoke, taking my hands. I looked back up at him and sighed. “Fine. He should know who his father is,” I spoke, turning to the door. “I'll go get him.”

This is it. He can finally see who his other father is. I hope this goes down well.

I know that I have posted a bit too much of this ship. But I just love this.
