Dorothy ran after Toto, who was bolting down what used to be the yellow brick road, the one that branched off and was broken. She was lead to Scarecrow's barn and meeting a horrible sight of him dismembered. "GOOD LORD SCARECROW WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU?!" "D-Don't worry about that! Just help me back together, please.." Glinda had followed her and helped Dorothy get him inside.

Glinda got his legs since his pants needed to be off to fix them and she's apparently, 'Too Young'. She put Scarecrow's jeans back on, calling Dorothy over to do his arms and head. Dorothy began to stitch his head back on. "So.."She said in an awkward tone"So indeed.." Replied Scarecrow, he didn't have anything to say. "What happened?" "One word, Crows." "Ah, explains a lot.." Dorothy didn't even bother to look up to Scarecrow. "What's wrong?" He nudged her with his knee. "Nothing! W-What makes you say that?" "Well, You flap your lip a lot." "Hey!" She poked him with the needle. "Ow! Heheheh!" They both started to giggle.

"What've you been up to Dolly?" Scarecrow was moving his newly attached left arm to get the feeling back into it. "Trying to keep you from fallin' apart on me." "Fair play Birdie." He chuckled. Dorothy started to work on his right arm, making sure to be as gentle as possible. "Owch!" He winced, closing one eye. "S-Sorry!" "Ah, I'm just pullin' your leg Chassis.." "Whatever.." "Hey now, you know I don' mean it." Dorothy finished up his arm and sat away from him, arms folded. Scarecrow scooted closer, wrapping his arms around her. "Come on Dorothy, y'know I'm messin' with yah.." Dorothy held his arms close, leaning her head back into his chest "Yeah.."

Glina called into the barn, "Dorothy, Scarecrow? Is everything alright?" The both of them jump, being startled. "W-We're fine!" Scarecrow called back, letting go of Dorothy. "I think you should get goin'..don' wan' yah in trouble." "Alright, Won't you come with us?" "My farm needs to be tended too.." "What if you get attacked again?" Scarecrow gave a shrug then a smirk," Don' you worry 'bout me Peach, I'll be fine, Say, I'll come if you walk wit' me, Eh?" Dorothy gave a nod of approval. Scarecrow opened the barn doors for Dorothy and took her hand into his.
