"Apparently he loves her, dad"
I widen my eyes
"You don't know that, Lauren. " I said to her aggressively
"Sure I don't " Lauren rolled her eyes again
"You don't like kenzie... Yada-yada" She mocked
"You don't know anything about what's going on with me and her"
"Of course I don't.. Except for the fact that she doesn't know about your past." Lauren said again
"Not in the table" Dad said and we continued eating dinner until we were finished
I ran to my room and brushed my teeth I got changed and pulled the covers up to my shoulder
*sigh*
"I forgot to text her today" I said as I placed my arms on my head while looking at the ceiling
The next morning..
"John, John get up"Lauren said while shaking me
"Hmm? What? "I said as I kept blinking my eyes open and shut
"Get changed.we're meeting up with the guys, remember? " Lauren said as she opens my window curtains and left my room
I started to get up and went to my closet and picked some clothes to wear today .. Once I was done, I went downstairs and saw a bowl of cereal on the kitchen counter
I grabbed it and started eating while I was on my phone. Lauren came back down, all dressed up and ready to go.
"Dont you dare waste your time on your phone, or I will drive today! " Lauren said and I rushed towards my bathroom and brushed my teeth.
"Okay I'm done" I said as I went downstairs, grabbed my wallet and car keys.
"So, are we still going to get the guys or-"
"Yes" She interrupts..
We went to the white van and started driving towards our friends' houses
After we picked all of them Lauren's phone started ringing
"Oh no, it's kenzie" She said and all of them started to panic.
"Keep quiet guys" She said and answered the VC
"Hii kenz" She said nervously
"Hi Lauren, what's up? " She started the conversation
"Nothing much, I'm just going out with... " She paused and looked at the guys
"...With Dad" She lied
"Oh, okay. Is John with you guys? " She asked and looks at me
I shaked my head Signaling her to say no
"... Uhm, no" She answered
"Oh, it's okay. I'll just message him using my iPad-"
"Don't! " Lauren said
Kenzie widen her eyes in confusion through the Phone's screen
"I mean, DON'T go, yet. I'm pretty much bored" Lauren said nervously
"Uhm.. Okay" Kenzie raised an eyebrow
Lauren scratched the back of her neck while looking at me...
