Expect the Unexpected.

Chapter 1

Hi, my name is Katie and I am 17 years old and I go to Winters High School. Well sorta. My mom is a manager and helps young stars get their career going, so I am homeschooled. It gets stressful a lot of the time due to that fact she is barely home so she can help one of her friends Scooter prepare for one of his singers tours. Sad part is, I dont know what one. Its killing me. Im a teenager that loves music and my mom meets a lot of people. Like Jason Derulo, Beyonce' and all those big time people. Let me tell you that it's stressful knowing your mother could be talking or associating with your idol.

My mom could be working with Cody Simpson, Madison Beer, Justin Bieber or Ariana Grande!

Stressful let me tell you.

Well moving on, Today im going out with my friends, we are going to the mall then going for frozen yogurt. I suddenly heard a buzzing sound.

I look at my phone and saw a text from Jay, that's her nick name, her real name is Jenelle.

hey girl! I'll be there with the girls in like 15 mins, alright?  

Love youuuu!  

Yup, that's Jay.

I go into the bathroom and decided to straighten my hair and put a little make up.

I walk out and put my black skinny jeans on and I get a text from Jay

We're outside! 

I write a note to my mom telling her I'm going out and will be back later tonight.

She's working with, what she calls 'Unknown'. She's always saying how I can meet the person soon but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

I walk outside and hop in the back of my friends car and greet her with a smile and then we are off to the mall talking about what all we want to buy and what we are looking for in a guy at the mall. Me personally I like a guy with either shaggy looking hair and brown or blue eyes, if not shaggy then I am in love with 'bad boys' with spiked hair. Piercings and Tattos are a extremely turn on for me.

"Kat! hello? are you in there?! "

"Uh yeah, sorry."

Afterwards we all run out of the car and go inside and head towards Rue 21 and then go to Clair's and all that girly stuff, It was around 5 and we decided to head to the food court and get some dinner.

We were waiting in line for our food and a group of hot guys came up behind us and started flirting with everyone. This guy named Jackson paid for Jay's food. Dalton paid for Sofiya's and this guy named Carter paid for mine. Carter is pretty cute, he had blonde hair and brown eyes. He goes to North High and is friends with my cousin Alex. Carter and I exchanged numbers and we all started walking off to do our last minute shopping. All of a sudden I'm on my ass on the floor and I'm covered in a drink. Great!

I look up and I realize the guys in front of us stopped and I wasn't paying attention and walk right into them.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going" says the tall, toned and fit guy.

"oh no, it was definitely my fault. I wasn't paying attention in front of me"

"let me buy you a new shirt, I spilt my smoothie on you."

"Oh no I'm-"

"I insist."

"Fine but I'm buying you another smoothie."

"Sounds good to me, Shawty."

Something about that name makes chills go down my spine and make me feel like a princess. Call me corny all you like but that's the only thing I can describe it by.May I add that this guy is amazingly beautiful! He has a normal buzz cut looking hair and he has a perfectly toned body, his ass ain't half bad. But, that's not the point. He has hazel eyes and brown hair. What a package.

On the way to 'Rue 21' we made small talk about where we were from and what we were doing here and all that. Turns out, that he is from Texas and is visiting family here for a couple weeks. Sucks he doesn't live here but there's other people. I'll still put my flirting game though.

"So pick anything you'd like. Not too expensive though."

I laugh and try to talk him out of it

"Jake, you don't have to buy me anything I can just throw this one out. "

"No, I will buy you something and you will not change my mind."

I groan and walk towards the spring clothing. Damn they have some fine shirts.

I pick one that has a flower on it and give it to Jake and he pays for it and we make our way to the food court to buy him another smoothie and find my friends. They are gonna freak over this.

I bought him a Mango smoothie and hand it to him and we talk awhile longer.

"Well it was nice running into you today, Katie. Maybe we can hang again before I leave."

"Maybe, if your lucky."

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah, we'll see."

"Well, Shawty if you give me your number so we can hang again, maybe I'll get  'Lucky'."

Moking my words.We exchange numbers and I walk to my friends and they all have smiles on their faces, let the questions begin.

"Omg Kate!! what happened?!"

"Well... I ran into him and he spilt his drink all over me and he bought me a new shirt and we exchanged numbers."

I say with a wink.

"Y'all ready to go home? I'm getting tired and I don't want my mom to worry."

"Sure, let's get going but you have to tell me if something more happens."

On the way home I had to tell them what happened. When I say had, I mean had. They threatened me if I didn't. My friends are so loving and caring don't you think?
