" Haahhahahahaha, I say, your mansion is as beautiful as ever.hahahahaha" Mr. valic stated. Eyeing the whole room"I'm glad u like it." Faking a smile
"I'm very sorry about what had happened to Andrei. My deepest regrets in that matter" he said turning to me and holding my hand.
Mr. Valic Jaquess, one of the most cunning man ive encountered. He was one of the people who helped me take down my predecessor considering I offered him one of the companies at Belgium.
" No need to act sorry" I said smiling.
"True." His smile turning into a smirk. He might be cunning but I can trust him.
"I've called u hear to tell me about Germany. I heard that Belgium is very close to that country." I said staring at my reflection at the tea.
"Is this about the witches curse that everyone is talking about lately?" He asked obviously tired hearing about that matter.
"Yes, I've been thinking about stretching the Manish name by building a clothing factory there so it would really be a problem if such superstitions is were to affect my new clothing line." Mr. Jacquess seemed rather shocked by my idea since branching out a company in another country is a huge investment and a bold move consideribg ive only been the Marquess for about two years. One of the things I learned from my previous successor was a lie is more believable when some of the truth are mixed in it.
"Ohh yesss. . . . . .i-" he was about to answer when a knock came from the door. James quickly opening the door and letting in a smaller butler named Morpheous with a trolly carrying pasties to go with another servibng of green tea and matcha cake.
"I apologize for calling you on such short notice." Looking him in the eyes knowing his sweet tooth.
"It's quiet alright. Your mansions pastries are always worth the travel." He said quickly digging in the tea and cake. He may have childish taste but his connections around the globe with his knowledge and experience he is quiet formidable.
"In Belgium most of our customers are from germany and a few of our men who went to the village witnessed the deaths of those with the said 'witch's curse'. They're skin became rashly deformed before they die a fee moment later. There were no signs of it being a chronic diease nor any sign of wounds to which any disease can enter from and they are in a variety of age groups so it's hard to pin point who and how one can catch this . . . curse." He explained quickly takibg a bite of the cake after his explanation.
". . . .I see, how curious" i stated.
"The only thing all those people have in common was entering the forest near the village before they died.'The werewolf woods' which was regarded as an occult forest and a taboo by the locals." Finishing his cake he looked directly at me.
"Ive read some german history books and it seems like they had terrible witch hunts between the 14th to 17th century. It said that the witches that managed to stay alive settled in a forest and released their familiar to protect them." Staring at the green reflection of myseld in the tea.
"But for the people to believe in curses is certainly ridiculus." Though i have a demon i do not believe that the human specie is capable of such sorcery.
"Hahahahahahaha I hope that this little infromation is of use to you, Marquess kiel." He chuckled calmingly enjoying his tea.
"It is. Thank you very much for you time Mr.Jacquess".
