we walked on the concrete next to a road which felt like we weren't going anywhere particular but I liked random walkes I could feel his eyes starring at me every now and then but I wouldn't say anything.

He touched the palm of my hand gently as I wrapped my hand around his nothing was being said but you could feel the tension.

"I like your hair color" he finally spoke still holding on to my hand.

"T-thanks" I stuttered.

"I make you nervous?" He asked with an blank facial expression.

"No" I lied as he looked at me like he was trying to read me.

"Stop" I spoke up quickly.

"Stop what?" He asked getting closer to my face.

"I dunno" I lied I knew but he knew to so explaining it felt like a bad idea.

He let go of my hand as we continued to walk I could see him getting closer and closer to the road which made me nervous but I didn't say anything.

"Why you look so nervous?" He asked making a humming noise.

I looked at him and shrugged.

"Wanna hear something I've been working on?" He asked as I nodded.

"Come on" he grabbed my hand as I followed him towards what looked like an alley.

He pulled out his journal I watched as he looked at the ground as the words began to flow.

He closed his journal stuffing it into his coat pocket.

"I like it" I said honestly.

"You do?"

"Yes and you sound beautiful" I said as he chuckled.

"What?" I asked laughing with him.

"Yes and you so beautiful" he mocked me putting on a girl voice my loud giggles filled the alley.

"I appreciate that tho" he said as I nodded.

"We should head back now" he said gently grabbing my hand again I followed him.

We finally reached the apartment he let my hand go as we both walked in sky and Stokeley looked at us awkwardly.

"Where was y'all?" Sky asked jahseh ignored her question as sky looked at me for answers.

"We took a walk" I said blankly.

"Alright love birds" Stokeley said as sky laughed.

"Well thank you for having me here today jahseh but I should probably head home" I said as he looked at me giving me an head nod I nodded back.

Sky grabbed my keys as we made it to the car.

"Sooo did this walk consist of kissing" she asked.

"No it wasn't like that" I admitted as she looked at me once more before driving off.

The rest of the car ride was silent as we reached my house we said our goodbyes grabbing my keys I unlocked the door to see my father sitting on the couch with the most angriest look ever.

"I-" before I could finish hard blows was being thrown at my face , arm , and stomach.

One last punch sent me to the ground hitting face first he continued to kick me in the stomach as I gagged for air as he finally stopped.

"You don't ever leave this fucking house with out my permission you hear me?" He asked giving me another kick to the stomach.

Trying to reply I couldn't I couldn't move or talk I felt paralyzed.

I could hear him talking but I couldn't make out to what he was saying  I could taste the salty blood dripping from my nose to my lip.

"You hear me!?" He asked again as the blurry vision cleared.

"Y-yes" I manage to say he stood over me gripping my hair he dragged me up the stairs as I screamed and cried.

He dragged me into my room slamming the door shut I just laid there I couldn't manage to move for myself.

The blurriness took over and everything went blank.
