Hello!

Welcome back to my little story. I'm sorry to have kept you waiting so long, but here I am! (Seriously, my life is so crazy right now I won't even attempt to explain!) I am very excited to get back to the story of Kienna, Robb, and all the other characters. Everything about this series is amazing, so that's why I decided to try to add my own little story.

Any who, I hope you enjoy the first episode of the second season and rate, comment, and continue to read! And of course if you're new, please go check out season one! I would hate for you to come right into the middle of the story!

Thanks :D

Kiara

It was my dear Joffrey's nameday. I couldn't remember ever being happier. My Joffrey was the King of the Seven Kingdoms and he loved me. Me, out of all of the women he could have, he chose me. I was one of the most powerful women in all the world, only no one knew of our love. That little fact could destroy my confidence in a moment, so I forced it from my mind before my mood suffered.

Joffrey was having round upon round of knights fight before him. The battles always ended in blood, but they were very entertaining to say the least. As the final knight of the day slay his opponent, I looked up at Joffrey.

His crystal blue eyes caught mine and I knew what he wanted immediately. I silently excused myself from the ladies I was sitting with and started to walk through the halls of King's Landing.

My mind wandered to my pathetic sister. No one could tell me where she was precisely, but I could be told that she was with Robb Stark and his Northern army. I laughed bitterly to myself at the thought of my sister shivering in some tent while I enjoyed the King's company here in the warm sun of the capital.

After my sister's traitorous behavior had been revealed to the court, some members had thought to question my loyalty. Joffrey had squashed all those who thought this. He justified my loyalty by pointing out that I had been raised here and not by the Starks. After punishing the questioners, no one else seemed inclined to question me again.

I arrived outside Joffrey's chambers and was relieved to see that there were no guards waiting outside. They would let me in, knowing how often I visited their King, but I was running out of lies to tell them. I shouldn't have had to justify myself anyways. I was about them, and they had no right to do so.

I slipped behind the wood doors and went to wait for my King on his bed.

Joffrey

I only kept Kiara waiting around fifteen minutes before I was able to steal away to my chambers. As I walked the halls of King's Landing my heart still pounded with the adrenaline that came with watching the knights battle to the death. Something about the clashing of metal and the blood excited me to no end.

I pushed open the doors to my chambers and found Kiara waiting for me patiently on the bed. She jumped up when she saw me and went into a low curtsy.

"Happy nameday, your Grace," She said in her sweetest voice. I walked towards her slowly, a smirk coming to my lips.

"Why must you always call me 'your Grace?'" I asked. "Why not 'my love' or 'my sweet?'" Kiara shrugged.

"Does my King not like my formality?" She asked innocently while batting her eyelashes at me. I stepped towards her, closing the gap in between us.

"No," I said. "He does not." My fingers traced the curve of her neck before I pressed my lips to hers.
