Hana slowly open her eyes, white ceiling. A memory from days ago replays in her mind. She remembers that she went to a bank on her 2nd day in here, Russia and robbery happened. Her half-closed eye jolts wide open as she pulls away the blanket, revealing her shin that is covered in bandages.
Ah, bullet wound.
As soon as she wakes up, a nurse walks into the room, a serious expression she wears. Aishah have told Hana that Russians don't just smile to any strangers, let alone her, a foreigner.
The nurse writes something on a paper before handing it to Hana, ''You are allowed to be discharge as soon as you wake up. The bill can be made at the reception.''
Hana emits little cries in her heart. So cold. She already misses her home country, Malaysia. Hana said her polite thank you before asking where her clothes are, only to be known that it is on the table, neatly wrapped.
. . . . .
Hana use the cane that they provided. The bills must be expensive. She barely can afford herself and has to wait for Aishah. Aishah can help her get some job as she waits for her class to start in like; 3 weeks more. She heaves a heavy sigh as she gets to the reception, mentioning her name so she can pay the bill.
To her surprise, someone paid it for her.
W h a t?
''Who paid for it and why?'' Her voice tone is full of wonders and being dumbfounded as she is when she doesn't have no relatives here yet they paid for her?
''It is just a man that randomly choose one bill per day to help people. He does charity. He said if you ever want to return the favour, here's a note.'' The nurse replied. Hana takes the piece of paper before she sits at one of the chairs, her jaw hung low as soon as she reads the note.

Call me immediately after you are discharged. Or else, you'll be in trouble.

OKAY. This is more of a threat rather than a 'return the favour thingy????'
