Brittany's POV

we got our lunch and sat down at our usual table. i noticed that Zach was at a different table alone and crying. i walk over to him.

"Zach, what's wrong?" i asked. he looked up and wiped his eyes.

"oh, just the mashed potatoes here are awful" Zach laughed nervously.

"you do got a point," i start, sitting down next to him, "but i know that's not what's wrong, spill the beans, Zach" i finished.

"okay..." Zach started a grabbed my beans and was about to spill them on the floor, but i grabbed his hand.

"not those beans, Zach" i scolded.

"fine, well i found out why you went all fifty shades of grey on me..." he said. all i could do was face palm.

"Zach!" i yelled at him.

"sorry, but i saw Erin and Luke are dating now" he looked down at the ground.

"hey, Zach, don't worry, i can fix this" i cheer him up.

"you're right! you're Erin's best friend! you know everything about her! let's go!" Zach grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the lunch room. Brendon walked in and looked at us in confusion.

"what's going on?" he questions Zach and i.

"Brittany's gonna help me get my woman!" Zach hollered. Brendon just laughed and smiled and waved goodbye.

Tyler's POV

i was planning to stay in the bathroom for the whole lunch period. i just couldn't show my face in front of Brittany. i can't believe i said that in front of her! i basically confessed my feelings for her but she has Brendon. i heard them all talk about him on the bus this morning though, Brendon seems a little sketchy. i heard my stomach growl and gave in. i headed off to the cafeteria, Brittany was no where in sight, thank god. i saw Brendon talking to Luke, so i his behind the door and listened to their conversation.

"yo, that lead cheerleader is so hot. i kind of made out with her in the locker room, thank god Erin didn't see or hear of it" Luke chuckled.

"yeah, bro. keep it lowkey. after all that's how i am with Brittany" Brendon replied.

what does that mean?!

"when are you gonna break up with Brittany?" Luke asked.

"i don't know... i still love Brittany but i also kind of what to look around more" Brendon responded.

"man, Brittany isn't even that cute. you could do so much better!" Luke laughed. after i heard that i couldn't hold it in anymore.

"excuse me but Brittany is gorgeous!" i screamed at them.

"Tyler?! did you hear our conversation?!" Luke yelled.

"yep. and wait till i tell Brittany and Erin about this!" i ran off, they followed me. they were fast but i was faster.

"damn it, Tyler! you're gonna pay for this, bitch!" Luke shouted at me but i ignored it. i ran off to find Brittany.

Brittany's POV

"do you think Erin would like me if i wear a french bread costume?" Zach asked.

"for goodness sake, Zach! just be yourself" i replied.

just then, the door to the janitors closet swung open. it was Tyler. i got up off my seat and went over to him.

"Tyler, what's wrong, what are you doing here?" i asked.
