Chapter 2

*Lilys POV*

I walked in the house to see my mom still passed out on the couch. She drinks everyday so she is always either passed out somewhere or in the worst mood ever. I went up to my room to do some homework. It sucks to have homework on the first day of school but I guess that's how high school works.

I finished my homework so I put it in my backpack. I found a little piece of paper folded into a perfect square. It read "hey Lily text me some time you will find out who this number belongs to if you text or call it"

I am so wondering who this is. Only person that I talked to today was Liam and the teachers. Oh no is this Liam's number. I want him as a friend but I wouldn't think I would want to date him. Were just friends. At least I think we are. I decided to take out my phone and text that number. Only reason I have a phone is because my mom bought me one before she started hating me.

*To the unknown number*: Um hi I found this number in my backpack so if you could just text me back with you're name that would be great. By the way this is Lily.

*From unknown number*: I know who you are bit the question is do you know who I am?

*To unknown number*: I don't that's why I asked you to reply your name......

*From unknown number*: I have a feeling you know who this is.

*To unknown number*: OMG I don't that's why I keep asking. I'm about to just stop talking to you of you don't tell me who I'm talking to!!!

*From unknown number*: ok fine it's Liam

*To Liam*: why wouldn't you just tell me your name instead of playing the guessing game?

*From Liam*: It's just that....never mind

*To Liam*: Ok..... I have to go my mom wants me, bye Liam

*From Liam*: Bye Lily see you tomorrow at school

My mom really didn't want me but I went downstairs anyway to get a little snack before bed. I walked downstairs and suddenly fell to the ground. Wtf. Oh she kicked me in the stomach.

"Were and the fuck have you been all day"she said in the most angriest tones have ever heard out of of her

"I've been in my room all day I promise" I said trying not to cry from the pain in my stomach

"Ok got to bed you bag of shit"she said

"Yes ma'am"

I went upstairs changed into a tank top and some fuzzy pants. I was about to lay down in my bed when I heard a knock at the door.
