*this is more of a filler chapter and is longer than usual oops*

Namjoon's head was all over the place. He didn't even try to focus on the rest of his classes. Hoseok constantly shot him concerned looks, his other close friends doing the same.

He managed to slightly pull himself together for football practice, to the coach's relief. Namjoon was more or less using practice as an output for his frustration towards both not knowing where Jeongguk was, and Jeongguk's mother's behavior towards him and her own son.

Who does she think she is, threatening me like that?

Namjoon slammed his gym locker shut, startling some of his teammates. He sighed heavily before muttering an apology and leaving the changing room.

"Namjoon-ah! Wait up" He slowed down his fast paced walk to a lazy one, eventually stopping all together. Another one of his few close friends, Sihoo gave him a small smile as he caught up to him.

Moon Sihoo seemed to be the quieter friend everyone had at some point, but was actually really outgoing and loud around people he likes and was comfortable around. He was also the friend that was good at everything and made you feel frustrated about yourself (΄◉◞౪◟◉‵). He did extremely well in his studies, and was on a lot of sports teams; both in, and out of school. He also managed to balance a part time job between everything.

Sihoo got along well with others and didn't get involved in unnecessary drama.

He, like Namjoon, was around 6'0". He had dark brown wavy hair, and an undercut of a shade of brown that was closer to black if anything. Sihoo was muscular but lean, from the combination of working out at the gym, and constant cardio from playing sports. Despite all of the physical activity he got, he had shelves stocked to the brim with novels and manga he loved to read and played video games well into the late night.

With his mysterious and calm aura, most people who didn't know him personally wouldn't pin the boy as a mama's boy. This boy was the biggest mama's boy to roam the earth.

He bought gifts out of the blue for his mother, to brighten her day and take some of the stress off. She was a lawyer and often had to work long hours.

Sihoo's father was a stay at home dad, working as an editor so he could take care of Haeun, Sihoo's six year old sister, when she got out of school.

Namjoon and Sihoo went way back. When they say they've known each other since their diaper days, they weren't kidding. Namjoon's mother and Sihoo's mother were in the same hospital and shared a room. They quickly grew close and became friends. They suffered through contractions together, and bonded when they didn't want to rip off their husband's hand.

Eventually, Sihoo's mother was transferred out of the room when Namjoon's mother was fully dilated. Sihoo's mom was having a c-section while Namjoon's mother was having a natural birth (why did I go into this-).

Namjoon was born a few hours before Sihoo was; a happy healthy baby. Sihoo; not so much. He didn't cry when he was born, nor did he react when they tried to make him. Sihoo's lungs were filled with amniotic fluid and were premature. He wasn't able to breathe on his own for a while.

Namjoon's mom often visited Sihoo's mother and Sihoo in the NICU with Namjoon.

Sihoo's premature lungs had lead to him having severe asthma, which had gotten a little better as he grew older. Growing up, because of his problematic lungs, he often sat out of gym class and didn't do a lot of physical activity. This is probably why Sihoo was going all out now since his asthma wasn't as severe.

To this day, Sihoo still carries around his inhaler, and needs to use it before and after he plays a game to avoid any possible problems.

Namjoon gave Sihoo and weak smile back. Sihoo's smile faltered a bit.
