After the awful long lesson I could finally breath again and the feeling of being watched or laughed at was over, and than to think that I has still 5 more hours to go.
As soon as I walked towards biology I got a call from my father and I pressed my lips in a thin line, I know they are worried, and they only do it because they love me, but it's literally yesterday that I saw them.
So I choose to ignore the call.
"Aren't going to pick that up?" A boy who sat down next to me asked and I looked up.
"Nah..." I mumbled, little did I know my father didn't call me for that reason. After the boring lesson my father called me again, and I felt somehow guilty for ignoring him so I took it.
"Hey dad-"
"Mom is in the hospital, she just had a stroke." My father's voice was broken and I stood frozen in my track. My heart skipped a bit, but not because of happiness or being flustered.
I felt confused and I didn't know what to feel or what to do.
"Hello? Natsume?" My father asked and I let down my arm.
"Hey? Is everything alright?" Everyone who speaks to me sounds so far away, and every sound is so far away. I see people gathering around me, and I start to see black spots dancing before my vision.
The words from my father echo in my head like a none stop recording.
"Mom is the hospital, she just had a stroke," a stroke was not that bad right? Soon I felt a hand on my shoulder, but I felt too dizzy to look up and fell to the ground instead.
My body crashed down like a puppet and the last thing I heard was somebody telling me to take it easy.
As I opened my eyes I noticed I wasn't in the hallway anymore and there wasn't a crowd around me.
"Hey you're awake. Are you alright?" A boy asked and he leaned towards me to see if I was alright. I was confused and didn't know what to say.
For a moment I forgot what I was doing here since my memory was just a black gap, and then I remembered it again. I shot up and almost stood up but the boy held me back.
"What are you going to do? You just fainted!" He asked a bit worried and confused and I shook his hand off.
"My mom is in the hospital okay? I need to go to her," and my father's words started to return, but I couldn't faint again.
I had to go to my mom, and see her. Making sure she would be alright, and nothing had happened.
"I will get the nurse and then you can go, okay?" He asked and I nodded. I didn't really know what to say else to him.
"By the way, I am Han Jisung, nice to meet you," He said but I was at a loss of words, to focused on my mom.
"And you?" He asked and I looked up.
"Me?" And he smiled.
"Your name," and my eyes grew wide and nonchalant as possible I tried to lean on the bed.
"Yeah I knew, Lee Natsume," I told him and he nodded. I felt my heart flutter again.
