3. Diagon Ally

Lily's P.O.V.

My mom so called apparated us to Diagon Ally. There, we met a huge guy, with a black beard, a pink umbrella who looked homeless, but he seemed friendly and I heard him muttering something about picking up Harry so, I convinced my mom to follow him while she got my supplies. She agreed, but I had to call if any trouble happened. On the way, I met Caroline and she decided to follow too and her parents and her little brother went to get the supplies. We followed and followed him until a storm brew up. Luckily, the huge guy saw us and welcomed us under his umbrella which turned into a floating roof.

''Woah," Caroline and I said simultaneously. I hit her on the head since there was no wood.

''What was that for?"

''Don't you know 'jinx, you owe me a soda'?" I asked.

''Oh, yeah."

''We'll be good friends in Hogwarts," I said smiling.

''With Harry too and other people." She she grinned madly.

''Did yeh just say 'Arry? As in 'Arry Potter?" The big guy asked.

''What's your name?" I responded

''Are yeh going to answer my questions by asking me a question?" He asked. I nodded. ''The name's Hagrid"

''Well, apparently, we do know Harry and we live near him and we heard what you were saying so we decided to follow you" Caroline responded.

''So...where are you going to go in order to find Harry? He's not at home. We checked," I added.

''He's at a house away from his home." Hagrid said.

'' What are you waiting for? Come on!" I exclaimed. So, we walked and walked until we saw a house right when the storm was worse than ever on a deserted island. Hagrid accidentally knocked the door down. Like literally fucking literally. After a long wait while getting soaked, Hagrid finally came out with Harry.

''Were you guys having a party or something? I mean, coooome ooon! It took forever, " I said.

I called my mom, and we met back at Diagon Ally with my supplies. The rain turned into a light drizzle, so we went to go get ice cream.

''Wow, I never thought I'd say this, but, this is better than a McDonald's McFlurry!" I said after I had finished mine and my moms ice cream. It was delicious. Like world ice cream domination. Afterwards, we went to the wand shop, to choose my wand and the pet store. A beautiful bird sat on my shoulder, a gray striped cat jumped in my arms, and a foggy gray owl landed on my pointer finger.

''Which one?" I asked my mom. She sighed.

''You can only take 2," she said. I chose the Phoenix and the cat. I said sorry to the owl and it nodded surprisingly. I felt so bad after that happened. D :

We went home and I ran into my room with my new wand.

''You can't use magic out of school Lily!" mom called from downstairs as she was making dinner. I groaned and put my wand on my shelf. I then started to put all my books and other stuff in my trunk.

****TIME SKIP****

It was the first day of term. So, I packed some extra clothes and my secret stash of chocolate in my trunk. My mom drove me to:

Platform 9 3/4

As it said on the parchment. Dang, these people are ooooold. I bet that we're going to use quills and that Hogwarts is a castle. I caught up with Harry. Caroline was already inside, and my mom left. We didn't know where to go, so we asked this man and he thought that we were mental. Then we heard a woman saying 'muggles' and children that had owls too. So, we walked over.

''Hello, we were wonder if you knew where platform 9 3/4 was," Harry asked the woman.

''Oh, this is Ronald's here first year too! You first Percy!" she called to the eldest looking child.

I must've gone blind for a moment because I know I didn't blink. He just went through the wall. This time, two identical twins showed up.

''Fred! You second!" the woman shouted.

''I'm not Fred, I'm George! Honestly woman, who do you call yourself mother?" he yelled back.

''Sorry Georgy. George, you second!" she responded.

''I'm just kidding. I am Fred. I think," he said.

This time, I kept my eyes wide open. And, he just disappeared into the solid brick. I think I just found out where platform 9 3/4 is.
