"No disturbing the neighbors, no drinking, no partying too late........" The list of my parent's rules were endless.
"Moooomm, please I have to go! Love you bye!" I kissed my mom and dad goodbye and I headed out the front door.
"And no fooling around with boys!" my mom yelled as I closed the front door shut.
"Sorry about that, they insist on telling me the 'the rules' five million times. Are you excited?" I pulled out of the driveway as I talked to my best friend Blake.
"What are the rules?" she asked.
"No sex, drinking, disturbing the neighbors, partying late and yeah." I said rolling my eyes.
"Oh well not like any of that's going to happen." She raised her eyebrows smiling a sly smile
"Shut up." I laughed.
"Oh Andrew texted me last night asking if it was okay if two of his friends came... their names are Taylor and Chris. I hope that's okay, I forgot to tell you."
"Umm yeah that's fine, as long as my parent's don't find out. I'm sure they wouldn't like having two boys they don't know stay at their place for two weeks." Worry spread through my body but I laughed it off and played cool. "But who cares." I laughed.
"Good, Taylor's supposedly hot but I mean no one can beat Andrew." Blake smirked.
"Mmmhmm." I agreed. I pulled into Andrew's driveway and four boys came out Dillon, Andrew, and two other boys who I didn't recognize, Chris and Taylor.
"Wow." I whispered. "Taylor's like..." I marveled at his beautiful face.
"I know." Blake responded. It looked like Taylor had Andrew beat.
"Hey guys." I turned around looking at the boys as they piled in the backseat. We weren't going to have enough room once we picked up my other friends Juliet and Elyse.
About an hour later we arrived at the lake, we unpacked the car and finally settled down on the beach in our bathing suits.
"How come you never brought me here before?" Elyse asked.
"So it can make right now extra special." I winked.
Andrew and Taylor walked up holding surfboards.
"This isn't the ocean. Dumbasses." I smirked.
"Obviously." Taylor said.
"Oh Vivianna this is my friend Taylor, I hope you don't mind him coming up. It just wouldn't be complete without him." Andrew laughed.
"Yeah it's fine." I said with a laugh.
Taylor sat down on the beach as Andrew walked down the dock carrying that stupid surfboard. I laid back down and closed my eyes while the sun beat down on my skin. I had this uneasy feeling in my stomach, as if someone was staring at me. I popped up and looked at Taylor straight in the eyes.
"What?" He asked removing his eyes from me.
I moaned and laid back down. Again I felt the same thing, I jumped up and he once again was too late to move his eyes away from me.
"Why do you keep doing that?" I asked.
"What?"
"Staring at me, it's quite disturbing." I said.
"Sorry, I do know a beautiful girl when I see one though." Taylor replied.
"Are you calling me beautiful?" I blushed slightly. Taylor turned his head away giving me a half smile. I adored the little half smile, it was so small but said so much.
