Glob and co. spent the next hour hanging around with Gabe and Loca and eating cake and stuff. It was now 9pm and the disco ended at 11pm, so they had another 2 hours left. It was getting quite hot in the hall. "I think I might just pop outside for a bit of fresh air," said Glob.

"Yeah, me too, it's getting a bit stuffy," said Loca.

Glob and Loca headed towards the hall doors. "Mmm splendid!" said Glob as the cold air hit his face.

"It's very noice and refreshing out here," said Loca. Glob and Loca sat down on a bench. "This pea costume is very hot," said Loca.

"Yes it does look hot. In both ways." said Glob.

"Oh thanks! I was worried it would look a bit strange. Gabe chose the outfits - he was very insistent that we were two peas in a pod."

This made Glob feel a little happier that it hadn't been Loca's idea. And how could Loca look strange?! She could pull off anything!

"I love your outfit soo much Glob. You really suit Globbocorn," said Loca admiring his sparkly body.

"Thanks, I've always wanted to be a globbocorn," said Globbo.

Loca flopped further down the bench. She looked at her Fitbit. "We should probably head back in," she said.

"Yeah sure," said Glob. He had sort of hoped that Loca would confess her love to him and go straight in and break up with Gabe and then kiss Glob, but that was very wishful thinking. Loca stopped in front of him. She suddenly gave him a hug.

"You know Glob, you're such a schwabble dabble friend, we need to hang out more,"

Glob beamed. Loca wanted to do more with him! And she had used Glob words aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh! They walked back into the hall to find out there was a dance off going on. It was just about to start. Glob and Loca stood at the end of the dance floor, looking around for the others. Suddenly Mr Dog of Wisdom popped up in front of them. "Loca and Glob, I guess you two are together?" He wrote their names down on a piece of paper and walked off before they even had time to answer.

"Well it looks like we're doing a dance off toghether now!" said Glob.

"I'll probably let you down, you're such a great dancer Glob," said Loca.

"No you won't!" Glob replied. "Anyway, it's about to start."

They made their way to the centre of the dance floor. Glob looked around to see if he could see his friends. Tom was waving excitedly at him and Jacky and John were jumping up and down. Gabe borked. He looked slightly confused as to why Loca and Glob were dancing together. Suddenly the music started and they instantly started skipping off down the dance floor together. Glob spun Loca around, and they were back heading off down the dance floor again. He lifted her and twissled her and flibber blab blabbed her. This was coming so naturally to them. Some people were out already. Then, the music changed, they slowed down their dance. Glob tilted Loca and she tilted back so her head almost touched the floor. Then he whisked her back up again and twirled down the floor. The music changed again. He slid Loca across the floor. She did the splits and then stood up again and Glob lifted her. There were only two other couples left and soon enough they were gone. It was just Loca and Glob left. The music was almost over. They schwabbled their way to the centre of the dance floor and Glob leaned forwards so Loca tilted back and their faces were close just as the music ended. He sooo would have kissed her if she'd been single. They crowd cheered for them.

"Looks like we have a winner!" said Mrs Granny Granola, beconing them over to the stage. There was a little podium. Glob and Loca stepped up to first and two other couples came on second and third. A couple of people with fancy big cameras came and took pictures of them. Flowers and chocolate were handed the couples in second and third. Then Mrs Granola came over to Gabe and Loca. She presented them a huge bouquet of flowers, a huge bag of Yodeltasty chocolate and some Cadbury's Curly Wurly Squirlies and a huge trophy. The photographers took some more photos of Mrs G handing the stuff over.

"We will get the trophy engraved with your names on," said Mrs G. Glob examined the trophy to see that the names of previous winners and the year were engraved on little silver plates around the base of the trophy. There were lots of names, the earliest year was 2000 so it had been going on for a pretty long time. Glob and Loca held the trophy together and Mrs G put flower wreaths round their necks while the photographers took more photos. Glob could see Tom in the crowds screaming "YEEEEEEEEEEEEET!". Finally, Glob and Loca left the stage. Everyone clapped and cheered while they walked through the crowds like they had done for Glob's performance. Glob was practically a celebrity now within the school. People would be talking about him for days, weeks, months, years even. He would go down in history. Once they managed to finally make their out of the crowd, they collapsed against the wall.

"See, you didn't let me down!" said Glob to Loca.

"I guess not," Loca smiled. "But it's only because of you, if I'd been with Gabe we'd be out straight away!"

Glob smiled back.

Suddenly Jacky, John, Tom and Gabe came running out of the crowds and practically squashed them. "Oh my glob Glob!" shouted Tom. " You and Loca were amazing!" He hugged them both. Glob was still so shooketh.

"Wow Glob you have dancing skillz!" said Gabe.

"Thanks Gabe," said Glob.

"Can I have some chocolate pweeeeease?" begged John.

Glob opened his Curly Wurly Squirlies and his Yodeltasty chocolate. It sure was tasty. Glob decided to save some for tonight at the sleepover. "Mmmm simply delicious!"
