So apparently I had hit my head, since when I rose from the ground it throbbed. Michael was standing.

"What happened?" I mumbled, smoothing my pants. Everything was dark. Not the light, just the walls. Why were they this color now? Where were the games.

"CATHERINE, RUN." I heard Michael yell from above me. Craning my neck to see, I saw Michael on an orange platform, looking down. Then I saw a turtle barreling toward me. A large turtle. As tall as me.

Naturally, I screamed. Second, I ran, into a pipe. Then I came out of another pipe, staring at the behind of the turtle that was chasing me.

"Now what?" I yelled to Michael, still extremely confused.

"Jump up here." he responded, dangling his (really pale) arms down. I grabbed onto them, and he pulled me up to the platform.

Now, I had no upper body strength. So, the second I was up on the platform, I couldnt stop myself from falling. I fell on the furby.

"This is no time for cliché movie moments, why am I being chased by a giant turtle?" I yelled, scrambling off him.

"It's-a me! Mario!" we both heard. I nearly died.

"Luigi!" another voice yelled, and I heard smacking sounds. A turtle fell. I screamed. Michael pushed me out of the way. It fell right through the floor.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?" I yelled, cupping my hands over my mouth, trying to get anyone to hear me.

"It's-a me! Mario!" sounded again. I wanted to punch a brick wall.

"Luigi!"

"WELL MARIO AND LUIGI HOW THE FU-" Michael covered my mouth with his hand. I licked his hand. He didn't move.

Michael's hands surprisingly tasted sort of good. Like peppermint chocolate. Ew what am I doing.

"What she mean to say was how did we get here?" he asked calmly.

"It's-a me! Mario!"

"Luigi!"

Wow, so helpful. Michael sighed and took his hand off my mouth. I breathed. "Is that all they say?" I asked. He shrugged.

"It's-a me! Mario!"

"Luigi!"

"Yup." he confirmed. "Turtle." he warned, pushing me back out of the way. It fell into the floor again. "Should we try to get to the top? Maybe when we beat the level we get out?" I suggested.

Michael nodded, and jumped to another platform. He pushed a turtle off it. "Jump!" he yelled. I did.

We jumped upwards. This time I kicked a turtle off. It was fun, I kicked a virtual turtle.

But then I wondered, wait, what?
