Chapter 53

-Taehyung's POV-

My heart was beating very fast now that we are in the doctors office.

I've come with only my mom.

Jungkook told me that he was busy and that we'll meet up later.

Which I am fine with because I knew that he also has things to do.

My mom and I were sitting down waiting for the doctor when suddenly he walked in.

"Hello. You are Kim Taehyung right?" The doctor asked when he sat down.

I just nod my head.

"Well I'm not sure if your mom has told you or not but there's two options for you to choose."

I just nodded again.

"Well. First option is you do the surgery. There's 80 percent that you can speak again. But the 20 percent is that the surgery might not work because you were born with it." The doctor calmly explained.

I just sat there next to my mom and take in all the information.

Then I showed 2 fingers to the doctor meaning for him to explain the second option.

"Oh right. The second option. Well you don't have to do the surgery. But. You being mute might cause more problem in the future. So there's that. Either you do the surgery or not. It's up to you. You can decide now or later"

I just sat silently thinking.

What would Jungkook want me to choose?

"Tae? So you will decide now? Or later" My mom spoke softly.

"Now" I mouth to my mom.

My mom just smiled a bit and nodded.
