''Oh my God! How long has it been!''

''Kat, Its only been two hours,'' Ash says to her.

Thor and Ash are in the front of the car, with Thor driving. Loki is sitting behind Ash and Kat is sitting behind Thor, with Megan switching between being on their laps.

''Maybe there's a way to pass the time,'' Thor says.

''Yeah. Like suicide. Loki hand me your dagger, mine is in the trunk in some bag. Let me just stab my heart. We'll see how far I can get it,'' she laughs a bit knowing that she's annoying her sister.

Ash turns her head to Thor. ''I'm going to end up killing her or something. We may have to pull over so I can punch her.''

''Just calm down, Ash. Your hair is turning.''

''See, Thor? You thought we got on each others nerves a lot,'' Loki smirks.

        ''Hey wait,'' Ash says.

''Oh great,'' Kat mumbles rolling her eyes, and Loki chuckles a bit.

Ash ignores her sister. ''Kat remember when we'd go to Erie mom and dad would make us do karaoke?''

''Do you want my ears to bleed?'' she leans her head all the way back with her eyes closed.

''That doesn't sound like that bad of an idea,'' Thor says.

Megan begins to cry while Thor is talking. ''Oh! The baby says its a bad idea lets not do it,'' Kat says throwing her arms in the air.

Loki tries calming her down. ''Sh. Its okay,'' he looks at Kat. ''Could she be hungry?''

''She could be. I tried feeding her before she left but she didn't seem hungry,'' she leans forward towards Thor. ''When you get a chance could we pull over?''

''Sure. There should be something not too far ahead.''

Loki and Kat are sitting side ways in the back seats facing each other. Their backs are against the door. Megan is on Kat's lap asleep.

''Hey look. You can actually see stars out here,'' Ash says.

Kat looks out the window. ''Oh yeah, you can.''

''Can't you see them back in New York?'' Thor asks.

''There are too many city lights to see anything but the sky.''

''Whenever you make a wish on a star you are a million years too late, the star is already dead, just like your dreams,'' Loki says calmly.

''Well you're the person I'd never want to hang out with,'' Ash says.

''How long have we been in the car,'' Kat whines.

''Maybe you should quit complaining,'' Thor says looking back at her though the mirror.

''I didn't ask to be stuck in a car with the two of you for seven hours.''

''Maybe we should stop somewhere for the night,'' Loki says. ''Might be best for all of us to get out of this car.''

''Wouldn't be a horrible idea to stop at a motel for the night. Then go the rest of the two hours tomorrow,'' Ash says and looks at Thor. ''Is that fine with you?''

''Yes. Is there a place to stay around here?''

Ash looks out onto the road. ''Right over there I think,'' she points a a building.

They get two rooms to stay in for the night. Thor and Ash take one room while Loki and Kat take the other.

Kat lays Megan on the bed as she lays beside her kicking her shoes off. ''Oh it feels so good to lay down,'' she tries being quite so she doesn't wake up her daughter.

Loki takes his shoes off and lays down on the other side so that Megan is between them. ''I thought we'd never get out of that car,'' he gets comfortable on his back as Kat rolls onto her stomach.

''I thought you'd never shut up about the time you tried sneaking a goat into the palace when you were little,'' she giggles as she closes her eyes.

Loki chuckles and puts his hands behind his head. ''He was cute and I wanted to keep him okay? I was nearly seven.''

''Whatever floats your boat,'' she laughs tiredly. Loki leans over and kisses her and watches her face go red.

Ash is laying in bed as Thor comes out of the bathroom after getting a shower. ''It actually does feel nice to be out of that car. You don't realize it until you get up,'' she's all sprawled out.

Thor picks her up, making her yelp, and he lays down on the bed with his arms wrapped around her waist. He pecks her cheek and lets her go. ''To be honest, I was expecting his road trip to be worse.''

''Worse? I'm surprised I didn't punch my sister at any point,'' she laughs. She gets comfortable and lays on her side facing him. ''But I guess it wasn't that bad. Besides maybe a few awkward stories, but I see what you mean.''

''We got nearly three hours yet, it should be fine,'' he puts an arm around her and kisses her again.
