The Initiation.

17th of the 6th sun, 1012th revolution.

The Initiation.

Weeks of training, finally coming to fruition. The final member of the council of light was about to be initiated.

The kid found me first. Confused as I was, the look on her face had me convinced. This realm has been a nightmare in disguise. Everyone trusts the system but it is really just a greedy king and his fabled knights and their oppression. Trust the system, they said. It will never fail you, they said.  Sure, they did not think of that when they murdered my wife, but then again the system is never wrong.

We were ready for initiation, more like a hazing ritual that I started out which never really worked out. Decan being an ex-head of knights was a perfect opportunity to take out all the anger  I had. I plunged with all my might, and let's just say in that moment I learned what it felt like when a blood fly went to bite a human. Stupid high guards. Same went for his wife. I still don't trust him. I don't think I ever can but as high guards go, he was the best, no doubt about it and we needed the best if we needed to fulfill the prophecy.

It was time to see what this kid was made of.

I charged, quickly turning myself into lightning. He dodged my first attack and countered with an ice spear. Come on kid, you're trying to hit lightning here you can do better than a spear. My onslaught continued and he kept throwing spears.

At some point I stopped and asked him, 'Freezeboy, if this is all you got, you better not even consider joining the council of light.'

He just smiles and asks me,'Look at where you are standing.'

I was surrounded by ice spears.

And then he muttered, Ice Infringement Ultimatum.

In a second, the spears turned everything contained by them into ice. I had to think fast.

I screamed out my transportation spell. Lightning from Heaven Transporter, and even faster than than the ice could close in on me, a lightning from the clear sky, transported me out of the ice cage and towards Sliver. To whom I delivered my final blow, which knocked him out.

Galei came running to his aid. Tredesta screamed out that it was enough. I calmly said ,'Yeah, wasn't planning to do anything more.'

Galei kept screaming at me asking I had to be so hard on him and I replied,'That was me going easy on him.'

I was truly impressed. Looks like we had a strategist amongst us. This felt like something Decan would come up with.

He woke up after a while. I walked up to him and I said,'Looks like you've got what it takes after all. Welcome to The Council Of Light.'

The Initiation was complete.
