(Yoru's Point Of View)

I hear someone yelling and my head instantly looked towards the screams...he finally came!!

I run through the forest that I have on the outskirts of my home, darting to reach him. My instinct told me that it was him...the reason why I abandoned my father, the reason why I'm shunned by demon and human alike, has finally come!

I could sense ahead a human being cornered by a Nekomata. The cat beast will devour him if I don't rush!

I quickly jumped over the Nekomata, glaring at him as if prey. I could feel the blood lust I had as I wanted to shred him to pieces. I slammed my foot on the beast head and jump up, landing in front of a human...girl?

I didn't let my shock show as I glanced over at her and back towards the beast. I waited for the Nekomata to stand and he gave us a hiss like growl.

I could feel how shock the girl was without even looking. I realized I probably seem more monstrous than the Nekomata...

I calmly stood up straight and patted some dust that landed on my suit away. I looked at her calmly over my shoulder, my white hair refusing to sway away from one of my eye.

I smiled sincerely, one of my fangs pointing out. "Are you okay, My Lady?"

She blinked in confusion and I could tell I had much to explain.

I gave my attention back towards the Nekomata, with an icy glare. The glare enough was able make him flinch back. I cared little if it died...matter of fact, I wanted to kill him. Rage and anger boiled inside me.

I closed my eyes, and brought my right hand up. I stretch my arm towards the left, Cooly keeping my posture. I brought my hand back down and snapped midway through.

With that. He was toast.

White Lightning that gave off a black glow, came from my finger tips and attacked the monster. It yelped in pain as electricity shot through its body. I knew better to kill the beast right then and there. If I had killed it in front of the human girl, she would never put her trust in me. And it was anything but gentlemanly to scare a woman.

I sent enough electricity to where he would just be stunned. When the attack ended, the Nekomata fell in a heap. I turned towards the Lady, and took a step towards her.

She flinched back and continued to glare at me, as if I was the one who attacked her. I was hurt by such an insult! I kept my calm though and kneeled down on one knee, swaying my arm underneath me.

"Pardon my rudeness..." I spoke calmly, keeping my eyes closed. I could feel her stares towards my horns now that she had a better look. She gave the aura of curiosity and fear. No wonder the Nekomata attacked her. Such an easy target... "My name is Yuro and I am your guardian... it is my soul duty and pleasure to take care of you...My Lady"

I didn't see her face but I imagine that I swayed her. Having her fall for my gentlemanly manner is all but fair. It would be the easiest way to protect her.

Though her reaction was different than expected...

"Huh?! Guardian? What are you talking about?!"

My eyes widened in shock and I flinched back.

"Did you hit your head or something?! Now where am I?!"

My head dropped in Shame...I didn't sway her like I had hoped...and for the obvious fact she knows nothing of this world would only make it harder for me...yay...

I didn't give up. I stood up and adjusted my tie while clearing my throat "I'll explain everything in due time, My Lady. But here is too dangerous for someone as fare as thee." I said ending with a charming smile, hoping to win her over.
