I was about to say no when Mrs.Kina came up behind us. "She would love to be adopted" she speaks for me, REALLY. "ummm" I start. "I will get her paper work boys come with me and Destine go pack" WHAT I don't want to be adopted! Ruining my life plan. As they start walking towards the office I tell Mrs. Kina I don't want to be adopted! "it will be good for you" she replies.

Ugh this is not good. I go upstairs to find Shelly in the room. "Why so bummed?" She asks. "I am getting adopted" I mumble "that's great!" "Ya whatever" I say lying on my bed. "come on its good your finally leaving!" she grabs my bag and packs all my things and practically pushes me out the door. She locks it behind her so I can only do one thing now, go down stairs.

When the boys see me they smile "hey Destine" Cameron says he's about to touch my shoulder when I jump away from him.

"You shouldn't touch her" Mrs. Kina says. "oh i'm sorry, so you ready to go." Cameron asks. I just start walking to the door.

"So what do you like to do Destine?" Cam asks me. "stuff" I reply. "okay well what's your favorite color?" Taylor asks. "I don't know" I responded getting annoyed with all these questions. "well someone doesn't like answering questions" Nash says joking. I just roll my eyes and stare out the window.

I hear them whispering from the front "what was her past like?" Nash asks "I don't know" cam says. Good no one knows my past and I plane on keeping it that way. After awhile I speak up "so who's last name do I have?" I ask, normal orphan girls would ask who there daddy is but to be honest life is better without that devil as a dad and I certainly don't want another one.

"Mine, and it's Caniff" Taylor says. So Destine Paige Caniff I don't like it. The rest of the car ride was quite and awkward no one really talked. When we pulled into the house it was huge! "Hey Destine I have something to tell you we live with 5 other guys so just for a warning." I nod and hope out of the car. When we get in side 5 other boys jump out one pulls me into a hug and I just start to scream. It seems like it scarf all of the boys and they back away.

"Don't touch her" Taylor tells the other boys "I'm so sorry" said the one that hugged me "I'm Carter, that's Jack and Jack that's Shawn and that's Aaron" he said pointing at all the boys. I just nodded " "Where's my room?" I ask. "Oh ya come with me" Taylor says opening a door that leads to a blue room with a bunch of cute sayings and crap every where. "Thanks" I say pushing them all out.

I sit down on my bed and unpack the little clothes I have, I change out of my out fit into a long sleeve shirt. When I take off my bracelets I see the scars on my wrist, I try not to cut but it's harder than you think.
