Does love beat cancer??

I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring on my bedside table, I made my way to the sitting room where I sat and continued my marathon of the Big Bang Theory. After about two episodes,I heard my parents moving and waking Daniella my 5 year sister and my older brother .Today was the day I would get the results of my scan, I have type three cancer and its spreading.I dragged my feet into the dining room and slumped down in a chair beside my brother.I poured myself a bowl of cereal and my mother waltzed into the room "good morning my princess" she sung "Mam I'm not five, the last ll time I checked I'm fifteen,sixteen next month" I said back quite blankly. Once I finished I got up brought my bowl to the kitchen,put it in the sink and headed down the hall to my bedroom. I walked to the bathroom and rammed on the door "Jake stop looking at yourself in the mirror!" I yelled "Jeez I'm getting ready for school is that a crime?" He questioned "Yes,Yes it is.Come on Jake I need to get ready" I groaned "Well I need to get ready too" he sang " Jake I have to be in the hospital in an hour so I would appreciate it if you moved your arse" I groaned again getting annoyed at this point, just as I said that he opened the door" Now happy?" He mocked "overjoyed actually!!" I replied sarcasm filling my voice I walked into the bathroom and washed my face and walked into my room shutting the door.

When I turned my little sister was sitting on my bed"what's up Boo?" I questioned confused my the paleness of my four year old sisters face "Jade are you going to die?"she asked her eyes filling up with tears and her voice becoming shaky,"Jade come on get ready" my Mam's voice boomed through the house,I just ignored her. " I will find out today boo that's why I have to go to hospital" I say pulling her onto my knee "ok but I'm scared boo" she sighed " I know Boo I know it's really scary" I said kissed her temple ,my mam burst through the door " Jade are you...... Oh" she stopped half way through her sentence "Dani are you ok?" She smiled " yeah I'm going to go get dressed" she fake smiled jumping off my lap "Jade will you get dressed as quick as you can we have to leave soon" she said leaving the room " yeah" I said halfheartedly getting out my favourite pair of jeans,5Sos top, my Jack Wills purple huddie and my black converse, I threw my hair into a messy high ponytail and walked out of my room to the kitchen where everyone was " the bus is here mam goodbye and good luck Jade" Jake yelled slamming the door. Dani doesn't go to school yet and well I go every now and again depends if the doctors will let me go.

We walked out to the car and i put Dani into her seat.It only takes about ten minutes to get to the hospital. When we arrived my mam and i walked up to the desk and my dad and Dani went and sat down in the waiting area. " hi we are here to see Dr Almer" my mam spoke " name please" the women said "Jade Witmore " my mam replied "yeah you can go in now" she smiled " thank you" we said in unison, we walked into the room next door "hi Jade how are you?" Doctor Almore smiled " really good actually" I smiled back " good I believe I have some results for you" he said in a more serious tone, he picked up the envelop with Jade Witmore wrote across it in bold letters and pulled out x-ray sheets" well Jade I have some good news, the cancer has not spread and it's only in your lungs and it's treatable" he said , i smiled "but Jade your lungs are very weak" he explained " is there a treatment for that?" i questioned " yes, there is but your lungs will have to be a bit stronger before we can do anything with them because there is a change they will shut down if we attempt anything with them now" he said, the room fell silent, all you could hear was the normal buzzing of people in the corridors."so anymore questions" he asked "no I don't think so thank you" my mam and I said and walked out I was in complete shock I actually thought it had spread but boy was I wrong "It hasn't spread" I said happily to my dad hugging him, i walked over to the seat and picked up a sleeping Dani and we walked out We all got out I the car and went inside my mam and dad are ringing the whole family and telling them the news,I texted Jake and a couple of my friends. I walked into the sitting room and joined Dani watching Mickey Mouse Club House, Dani broke the silence " So Jade you aren't going to die then are you?""not for now anyway" I explained "good because I prayed to god when you were with the doctors that I wouldn't lose my big sister" "awh, Hun come here" I smiled realising that if I went I would be leaving my baby sister.
