She walked through the fiery sunset
With those eyes gazing at her.
There delicate green orbs; with black freckles.
And it felt as if he was ethereal,
As if he was just a figment
A shadow of mesmerising faded glory.
Didn't have the audacity
Didn't really have the courage,
To take the risk to express,
But just to catch a glimpse.
Getting what's deserved,
Creating what isn't destined,
Loving what's not worth it,
Waiting for an agonising pain.
To crash in and break free,
Run with the wild spirit she'd gain.
Till everything heals,
Before he slashes the fresh wounds again.
