The snow was pouring softly outside, slowly covering the plants in a thin layer of pearly white. [Y/N] was sitting on a bench in a park, her small hands grasping tightly onto her warm mug of hot chocolate. Katsuki was sitting next to her, sipping on his hot coffee with one arm lazily thrown around her shoulders. The moonlight cast a small amount of light so she could see just the faint red of his eyes. She leaned her head against his shoulder, letting out a sigh of content.
"It gets really pretty at night, doesn't it?" [Y/N] questioned, her rosy lips turning up into a soft smile.
"Everything is just coated in white, it almost feels like a fantasy," she breathed, turning her head to take in the scenery.
Katsuki didn't say anything, he just looked down at her and felt his body fill with joy when noticing her ecstatic eyes, she was almost like a child, his baby girl. He wasn't one for pet names, but when he noticed the way a coat of pink dust settled upon her cheeks and how flustered she looked, he decided he could spend the rest of his life calling her that. Not that he would ever admit that to her, she'd never let him live it down.
[Y/N] moved her head from Katsuki's shoulder and took a sip of her drink, humming happily and letting out a soft giggle. Katsuki's cheeks turned red as he turned away, a scowl settling upon his face. He didn't know why she had to be so adorable, it's like she wanted to make his heart burst from love. He didn't know when he fell in love with her, but after her constant persistence and bubbly attitude, the way she spoke his name began to leave his heart fluttering. She was just like Kirishima, bringing joy to everyone even if she was met with a snarky attitude.
He noticed her quickly jump up from her seat and place her cup on the bench, holding out her mitten covered hand towards him with a dazzling smile on her face.
"C'mon, let's go play in the snow." The way she looked at him when saying that left him begrudgingly taking her hand, letting out a tch as he let her drag him to an open area in the park. Her pigtails bounced with each eager step she took, her [e/c] eyes turning back every now and then to sneak a look at him.
They reached a frozen pond where [Y/N] immediately ran to it and let herself slide across it. Once she reached the middle, she outstretched her arms and laughed as the snowflakes fell across her face.
"Be careful!" Katsuki shouted, annoyed with how instinctive she was, what if the ice cracked and she fell in? he wondered, slowly walking across the ice.
Once he reached her, she tried to twirl around but fell instead. She landed on her behind and let out a quiet ow, her bangs falling in front of her eyes.
"You idiot, don't go around doing stupid things," he muttered, reaching his hand out to her, pulling her up with force.
She gasped as she came to her feet, being pulled against his chest. Katsuki placed a gentle kiss against her head before pushing her off him. The way he looked down at her with his burning crimson eyes sent shivers down her spine, looking to the side in embarrassment. [Y/N] held her hand out, catching a snowflake in her hand before it quickly melted.
"We're kind of like snowflakes, aren't we," she whispered, still not looking at him, "We're so different from each other, but ya know, when they come together they make pretty snow."
She shyly turned to look at him, noticing the smallest smile on his face. He grabbed both of her hands and stretched their arms out. His cheeks were red once again, but he told himself that it was just because it was cold outside, and not because he was actually melting at the words she said. Her little nose was red from the harsh air and he hated how cute it made her look. He stepped closer, bringing their arms down, and nudged his nose against hers. He let go of her hands and wrapped them around her waist, pushing his face against the crook of her neck.
[Y/N] wrapped her arms around his neck, one hand playing with the ends of his soft hair. She gasped in surprise when she was suddenly flung across his shoulder, her eyes looking down at the ice.
"Let's go have a snowball fight so I can kick your ass," he grumbled, setting her down once he was at a clearing.
She laughed as she reached her hand out to shake the snow from his hair, her lips turning up in a smirk.
"I think I'm gonna kick your ass instead," she teased, quickly scooping down to grab a snowball and throwing it in his face. She laughed as she ran away afterwards, mumbling oh crap, oh crap, oh crap.
Katsuki huffed as he wiped the snow off his face. "Stupid," he muttered, "I love you."
