It's a world where everyone is born with white blood. The more crimes you commit the darker your blood becomes. Rose has black blood. But Jack has white. What happens when they fall for each other and Jack thinks Rose has white blood.
"Rose we've been together for three years. And I love you." I froze and turned to him, listening. "I love you more than anything in the world, Rose. You mean so much to me. I'm so glad I found someone else without tinted blood." I froze again thinking back to me lying because I didn't think this would be a serious relationship. I thought it would be a fling. Jack will never forgive me if he finds out I have black blood. "Rose....rose.... ROSE VIOLET MATTHEWS!" I was brought back by yelling. "What?" I asked still slightly in a daze. "You were off in your own little world... do you not love me too?" Jack asked while sorrow filled his eyes. "No- no I do I really do I was just processing everything that happened sorry..." I jumped at the chance to tell him before he left. "Oh" he sighed in relief "Yeah I was thinking how about we go on a triple date. Ya know you and I, Bre and Zach, and Morgan and Jo." I said hoping he'd be up for it. "Yeah sure that sounds great." Jack said pulling out his phone to text the boys. "Great I'll text the girls."

"Ok Bre, Morgan he told me he loves me!" I said excited and scared. "What?" they ask in unison. "Can you believe it?!?" I ask. "No, I can't." Bre said "That's great!" Morgan squeals. "Ok well we have to get ready." I rush them to get ready.
