Beauty is the key
Is all I hear my mother say to me
That with it I can get everything I need
And I truely believed it
Beauty was the goal
Its all I ever wanted to achieve
Once I got it I beamed
And I finally got what I wanted
People were falling to there knees
Guys and girls would finally talk to me
But all this came at a cost
And somehow I lost
My best friend, Susie
Who was average and not sub-par
The sweet look I would get in the halls
The gentle push I would get against a wall
The job I wished for when I was little
My eight year old self who wasn't always this bitter
Whose dreams are now with the stars
The stars that don't answer unimportant calls
Because of a call more important than that one
To have what they wanted the most
Beauty

PoetryA bunch of poem by me that are odd. And making odd poems is my job. Anything with this (*) near it you must read. It's a warning sign for something in the chapter or for the next one. Also, I don't know how to do tags.
