It had been going good. The GER and the ICN had strengthened their economies ten-fold and had expanded to several hundred solar systems. Their militaries were strong. Large navies and exceptional ground forces had made it quite easy. Until now. One of the species they'd run into, the Rakkle, had not taken kindly to their presence. The Rakkle were a bug based species that were also quite violent. They had a navy. And ground forces. And they took the fight to the GER and the ICN. Not only that, the GER was dealing with a civil war. The GER uses a lot of droids. They carried out many tasks, including building, cleaning, and fighting on the frontlines. They became to sentient however, hijacked several dozen warships, and disappeared for awhile. Turned out, they settled on an uncharted world and began producing more droids. More ships. More weapons. And once strong enough, engaged the navies of the ICN and GER.
