Chapter 4

*Zaydens P.O.V*

I drove back to the cabin and noticed it was around 12:10 so i had enough time to grab my camera and to relax before having to leave again. I went out onto the balcony to look at the view and decided to go grab my book to read a few chapters before having to go. Every time I would try to read my mind would wonder off to Kayson. I didn't know what was so special about him, he looked liked your everyday average school prep boy. Just with amazing beautiful hazel almost green eyes, and hair that I just wanted to rake my hands through. 

WHAT...I need to stop thinking these thing's, he didn't even seem interested in you, he obviously doesn't want to show you around. I looked over at the clock on the wall and noticed it was 10:35 and decided to grab my camera, car keys, and head out to the car to leave. I pulled up and got out my car and walked back up to the front door, and rung the door bell. 

I heard some people coming to the door, and then I started having the feeling in my gut again the closer they got. Then the door knob rattled a little and someone finally opened the door, and I swear my heart skipped a beat again. It was Kayson standing at the door staring directly at me again and then finally someone behind him pushed him out the side.

"Kayson you didn't tell me he was a cutie pie, were you trying to hide him for yourself?" The other boy said, which was making my face turn red, and started to get embarressed. "Leave him alone, your scaring the poor kid, and by the way this is Braxton my best friend." kayson introduced me to him, and he was pretty cute. He hand sandy blond hair with bright blue eye's and was almost built as kayson but a little smaller.

Kayson started walking toward the side of the house toward a gate that you could barely notice with all the bushes around it. Braxton looked at me and nudged me to follow him and so we both started following Kayson. Once we were past the gate you can see a trail leading deep within the woods, it had a mysterious feel to it, like there something the woods were hiding from the outside world.

We kept walking and I took a few pictures on the way, but then my legs were starting to get a little tired. I haven't ever walked this much in years, and Braxton and Kayson were in front of me talking away about something. I couldn't here because they were far ahead and they were talking really low.

I looked out at towards my right and it was breath taking to see the rocks and trees covered in moss, and the small colorful insects that covered the beds. I must have been staring out there for a while because I ran into something really hard, that felt like a damn rock. I fell down on my back and looked up to see what I ran into and started blushing really hard. Why did it have to be Kayson!!! 

He looked down at me on the ground and asked, " Are you okay? and make sure you look were your walking next time" He handed me his hand, which I took and told him thank you with my head hanging low. I felt so embarrassed about it, and then we both turned our head to braxton and saw him standing on the boat ramp that was in the lake. 

"Alright love birds, come on lets go swimming!!" I blushed at when he said love birds, and finally took in the view of the lake and everything around it. I couldn't believe there is a place that looks like this, if i known this was here, I would have came every summer. I loked back over to were Braxton was standing and notice him taking off his shirt and shorts and jumping into the water.

I pulled out my camera to take some pictures of the lake, and started to walk around some, if I could stay here forever I would. I noticed that Kayson was looking at me and was leaning up against a kayake rack and turned my head back around. I saw not to far a few deer's coming to the lake to get some water, I lifted up my camera and took some photos.

I headed to the dock and put my camera in the grass so i didn't accidentally drop it into the water or got splashed with water. I walked toward the edge of the deck and took off my socks and shoes and put my feet into the water. Surprisingly it wasn't to cold and then I heard someone running really fast from behind me. That's when I saw Kayson jump in the water with just his boxer and do a front flip into the water. I was splashed with water all over me, but I wasn't to angry, because I was red as a tomato to see Kayson muscles.

I couldn't help but stare at him while he was swimming, he looked like a damn god. Braxton and Kayson was splashing each other and looked like they were having great fun. It was kinda weird seeing a playful side of Kayson and that he was being serious or having a pissy expression on his face.

Braxtan called me, "Hey Zayden you should come swimming, it feels amazing." I told him no and that I am fine on the deck. That's when i felt someone grab my feet and pulled me down into the water, which I screamed, even if it did sound like a little girl. It was scary because I didn't even know how to swim, and I started freaking out.

When I finally found something to grab onto, I clung onto it like life or death, which it was because I don't know how to swim. I finally got my head above water and looked around, and felt like diying when i realized that i was clinging onto Kayson like a Koala. He looked down at me and said " You can let go." 

I shook my head and held tighter "I can't swim" I said it really low were he could barely hear me, but somehow he did and started laughing. I wanted to cry because he was laughing at me and I was totally embarrassed that I have to hold onto him to keep myself up. 

"Oh shit!!! Don't cry I was laughing because you look really cute, we can got to the bank if you want?" Kayson said which he actually looked really guilty for pulling me into the water. I nodded my head agreeing to bring me back to the shore, once we were on shore I quickly let go, and took off towards my camera. I grabbed my shoes slipped them on and headed back up the trail still feeling so embarrassed about what just took place. I just want to forget what happened and never come back to the lake or to see Kayson ever again.
